I have three small dogs, different breeds. It has been super challenging to find a food that all three would eat. I have gone through numerous brands - grain free, with grains, slow cooked and what not. This one is a keeper! I do mix in a tablespoon of wet food as a topper, but they all clean out their bowls with this food. They seem quite healthy with a shiny coat. There are limited ingredients in the food which has helped my dogs with healthy digestion. So far so good!

usually I need to put food toppers because she’s VERY picky (as most german shepherds are) but she loves this kibble!!! im a happy dog mom :)

I love all the brands in the CC line. The ability to switch proteins is what initially attracted me to the brand including a high caloric content. When I originally switched my lab over to the line 5 yrs ago she was having some terrible dandruff, itching and general fatigue. As an 8-month old lab this was noticeable. After a couple of weeks on the limited diet, she perked right up, coat because beautiful, and she started to look like the hunting dog she is. I had to use a different brand on vacation (due to a lack of planning on my part) and she went right back to the original symptoms. i credit a healthy lifestyle INCLUDING using CC as her basis for nutrition. I will caution new users to very carefully read the feeding recommendations on the back (VERY high calories compared to other brands) which could cause weight gain if not careful. I love this brand and will be hard pressed to ever switch.

I have a big dog and a little dog. The biggins is a very complicated Doberman with 1001 issues. One of the issues is skin + food allergies. It's pretty severe at times and requires a lot of meds and vet visits. My dogs really like these foods. I say Foods cause I do rotate between all the flavors except the duck. (Big dog is allergic). The limited ingredients really help keep his allergies in check. It also helped lose some of his chunky love handles! That was a surprise on it own!. Even when switching the flavors there was no diarhea with either of them. So My Full Rating is 3 1/2 stars. The Price and availability of this food is the drawback.

wonderful for dogs with digestion issues

I bought this food for my large puppy who has a severe food allergy. The ingredients sounded like he would benefit from it, but unfortunately, he seems to have an allergy to one of the ingredients that is not listed on his list of food allergies. It's a great quality of food, but just not right for him.

My dog loves it.
