Love the texture and colour. It has a nice taste and it doesn't run. Also it doesn't dry your lips. Just perfect.Shame it's not sold in shops in Australia

This is touted as a lip liner that doubles as a lipstick. And it really is that. So refreshing to have a product that actually does what it says. I was a bit worried when I got this because the box looked like it had been opened a lot by someone who wasn't very careful. But everything inside appeared new and unused. You get the lippie pencil, a lid and a sharpener. This is a nice touch because the pencil is one of those composite materials that's kind of plastic-y. You don't want to ruin your good sharpener with this. The color Ovid is fantastic. Just what I wanted-- a slightly maroon red. It goes on very smooth, there are some oils in here for conditioning. I put it on tired, dry lips and it perked them up. I drank half a glass of water and no lipstick on the glass! Only the tiniest amount had disappeared just near the inner rim of my lip, but even those horrible liquid glue lipsticks fade out there. And this is is such a lovely light texture, feels like nothing on. No goop, no stickiness and not drying. The texture is matte. I layered it under the luxury Velvet Rope "black tie" for a long wearing dramatic red.

I absolutely love this brands lippie crayons!! They are long lasting, moist and pigmented! The colors are so pretty.

Smooth easy application, no odor, no irritation, feels great on the lips. Can't comment on how long it really stays on because I only wore it once. Returning because the color was much warmer in tone than expected, looked awful on me, would be beautiful on someone who can wear warm shades. The color description & appearance on various websites gave me the impression that it was a bit darker than it is & certainly cool toned. Wish they had "my color"! Keep searching.

This is my first Lipstick Queen purchase, and I expect I will try more LQ products. It goes on like butter and lasts quite long. I can't say for sure how long it lasts, since I apply a lip gloss on top of it. It is intensely pigmented, and when I find the right color I won't need to apply a gloss on top of it. The ONLY reason for my 4-star rating is because the actual color of the product is very different than what I see on my computer monitor. It looks more purplish with blue undertones on my screen, but is actually more of a red color.
