Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City Signature Series Guide

So close to perfect.
It gives you basically everything you need, Except it doesn’t cover the DLC missions that came along after the game.Thankfully for a personal thing for me, it shows the name of the game very clearly on the side of the strategy guide. The guide I ordered was in very close to perfect condition and for one of the most hated game in the franchise I’m excited to own one in such great condition to go along with a small collection I’ve got going on.

good gaming tip, and lots of pictures
I bought this book after I, and several friends, had played Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City (ORC) together and all of us had been left disappointed by the short (and extremely bug-ridden) game play. Ever the optimist I saw the guide and thought it might give me some clue on the game play ... apparently not.The book itself is 158 pages of, mostly, illustrations with some text.It starts with a basic section on the characters. These range from Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine (looking nothing like the Jill I remember from RE1, RE2, Nemesis or even RE5), Carlos Oliveira (again looking nothing like the Carlos I am familiar with), through to Hunk and the Umbrella teams.Next is a section explaining the different modes - campaign mode and verses mode. These are only brief explanations but because of the use of imagery (many half a page in size) it is spread across several pages.Following this is a guide to the "hostiles" - from hunters and lickers to the Tyrant and various zombies. Strangely, even though the G-Birkin is used as the feature creature at the beginning of the chapter there is no mention of it in the guide of "hostiles".This section is followed by a section on the weapons and how to use them. The "walkthrough" of the Campaign mode starts on page 52 and ends on page 133. As with the previous sections there are a lot of illustrations which pad out the textEach of the seven sections starts with a double page map of the area. The "walkthrough" is predominately tips of how to play with little bits of trivia included for those who are interested in the back story.Verses mode is covered next (page 134 to 139), and it gives brief but concise information to give you a helping hand when you play the verses mode.Stage Maps for the verses are include over the final 20 pagesMy problem with the book was that it didn't tell me anything that I hadn't picked up by playing the game. The illustrations, however, are this Resi fan's delight. As a Resident Evil fan I'm glad I bought it, especially as it has a good amount of illustrations, and as a player of the ORC game I am both relieved and disappointed about the game content.
