The media could not be loaded.  I jumped at the chance to try this hair removal cream out on my unsuspecting husband. He has become more and more hairy over the years. I can cope with a bit of a hairy chest, but many people (including me) think that hair up around the tops of the arms and onto the shoulders and back of the neck isn’t the best look, and can get quite tickly. He refuses to go for professional waxing, didn’t like home waxing and shaving isn’t a great option as it quickly grows back and is scratchy when it does.We followed the instructions on the leaflet included in the box (although a bit tricky to read as the text size is tiny), and spread the depilatory cream on the offending areas, ensuring that we coated all the hairs adequately. The cream comes with a little souring pad-type sponge which you use after three minutes to see if any of the hair has become detached. It was starting to, but by 7 minutes (the maximum it states you should leave it on), all of it was very easy to wipe off with the sponge before washing with water to remove any residue. My husband’s skin is a bit sensitive and can react to some creams, but he didn’t have any problems with this one.The cream seems to go a long way. We only used a fraction of the tube for both sides of his upper collar bone, shoulders and deltoid areas. It is fab! No more tickly hairs. Of course, the hairs grow back but they do so softly and not stubbly, and it’s easier to reapply the cream when necessary because the hairs aren’t full-length.This is going to become a regular purchase in our house, as one tube should last several applications.

I decided to accept the offer to review this item for free, as I do regularly use hair removal cream on my back and shoulders, with the assistance of my wife.I think it is fair to point out that I do have quite course thick dark hair, so my findings are based on this. If you have finer hair, then it will probably work faster, and you might also use less product.I would always recommend that you initially test any such cream by applying it to a small area and leaving it for 24 hours, in case of any adverse reaction. I did not experience any adverse reaction.The tube only contained 80ml, which I found for me was just enough for one application.A double-sided sponge is included for application and removal.I found that applying the cream was much easier with the sponge, as opposed to the plastic spatula supplied by the more well-known brands.Unfortunately, using the reverse rougher side of the sponge to remove the hair, was not as successful. It was too small a surface and not firm enough.When I tested the cream initially, I left it on for the 3 minutes it was suggested would be sufficient. That clearly did not work, and I went for double that time which did prove effective. The maximum time recommended is 7 minutes.I did like the fact that the cream had very little odour and included aloe vera.I cannot really conclude without also considering the price of over £9 for 80ml, which really is at the high end of this market.In summary, it does the job, the applicator is good, but the remover is poor and the price too high in my opinion.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed after having high hopes for this product. Expected it to remove all the hair but unfortunately in my experience it removed around half. It came nicely packaged in a good quality tube. However I was disappointed and frustrated at the performance. It came with a poor quality sponge I had to put in the bin after one use as I couldn’t get the hair off it. I left it on for 10 minutes exceeding the product description of 3 minutes minimum and ideally 7 minutes so it should have worked. It’s a messy business. It also smelt a little bit like gone off eggs which isn’t pleasant at all. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this product. Only reason not a one star is because it removed half the hairs, I would have given a one if not at all.

I ordered this product as my Partner has some quite hairy areas on his body but he didn’t want to try waxing as he was sure it would be very painful. I persuaded him that trying a hair removal cream might be better so he willingly let me help him with this hair removal cream. As this hair removal cream contains aloe Vera I knew that it should be quite soothing on his skin. This tube contains 80ml of hair removal targeted at Men. The scent of the cream is lovely and fresh and like an aftershave. The tube has a rounded end to help with application.We first tried some of this cream on my Partners shoulders where he has a lot of hair. I smoothed on an even amount over the area and and as he is quite hairy we left it on for 5 minutes. To remove the product simply wipe away with the double sided sponge which is included. This hair removal cream did actually work on our first attempt and removed all of the hair where we had applied the product. My Partner did not suffer from any skin irritation after it was removed so we moved onto the other shoulder and repeated the process. To make absolutely sure that all the product has been removed my Partner just had a quick shower as that was the easiest way to remove all the hair and cream. We highly recommend this product and it is nice too have a brand solely for Men which has a lovely fresh scent.
