Ebury Press The Ritz London Book Of Afternoon Tea: The Art and Pleasures of Taking Tea

Outdated and inaccurate at times
This was ok but although it seems the author has spent time in England, it feels like it might have been decades ago! Some of the references as to what the British do or like really had me going 'Huh?!' There are definitely some odd comments within it.It could also do with an update. Since this was written, Afternoon Tea has had a huge resurgence in popularity which clashes with what it says in the book.It is a small book, and beware, the print is also tiny! Some of the recipes seem good but some colour illustrations rather than black and white all through would have been nice.

Many recipes, but not the Ritz real deal
Purchased mostly for the scones recipe after being at Ritz and liked their scones very much. I am afraid this does not provide the current recipe, since scones come up too flat. Interesting history of tea and many other recipes, but failed the most important one to me.
