GodingerDouble Old Fashioned Whiskey Glasses, Rocks Glasses, Glass Beverage Cups, European Made - 12oz, Set of 4

I was looking to get some glasses for my morning fruit smoothies that could hold up to 16 ounces. These fit the bill very nicely. They are elegant in form and fit the hand beautifully. I have a minor concern that the glass walls beautifully, gracefully thin up toward the top. I'm worried that they may be broken. Not the fault of the glasses, but of a combination of my tile kitchen counter tops and my clumsy hands. No accidents as yet, but daily use may be testing the law of averages with my sometimes clumsy self.I like them and will continue to use them. We'll see if I can manage it.If used as that for which they were designed, these glasses are indeed terrific.

Once again, I'm impressed with the quality of the glassware I received from Godinger. Over the last few months, I've been slowly replacing my glassware. What I had was over 15 years old and needed to be replaced. This is my 2nd set of highball type glasses from Godinger. Unlike this set, that one was modern with straight sides. I really like the traditional look of this set with the rounded sides. I know most people like to have all of their glasses be the same, but I'm very eclectic and love having a variety of glasses to choose from. The 16 ounce size is perfect for an end of the day spritzer or for a glass of lemonade while relaxing on the porch. The glass is high quality and made in Europe. The glass looks delicate, but is quite sturdy and durable. You can even throw them in the dishwasher, which is a HUGE plus for me. I abhor doing dishes! I'm extremely happy with the craftsmanship of these glasses.

They are perfect For my little home Bar

This glass is very elegant. It is very light yet very stable as the base has a good weight in it. It is very easy to hold, but is very fragile. The glass is so thin that I feel I can crush it with a single hand. My wife feels the same way and is very careful when washing these. The thinness of the glass feels it will not survive a 6 inches drop to a hard surface. I have other thick glasses that survives does drops, but these glasses I wouldn't even try. Would have been a 5 star if it was a little thicker.
