We've enjoyed a number of FD TARTUFI products and have generally found them to be of good quality. Most of their products are the type that I picture getting in a holiday gift basket.I was excited to try this Truffle Oil as I love the flavor and scent of truffles. We really enjoy it on fries with Himalayan pink salt. As far as truffle oil goes, this one has a more subtle flavor than others we've tried. The FD TARTUFI White Truffle Oil 100 ml (3.40fl oz) arrived and I carefully tasted it for flavor and quality. This extra virgin olive oil is light and buttery with a slight taste of white truffle. This is an Italian EVOO. The only problem I have with it is cost. At just under twenty dollars for a 3.4 ounce bottle, this olive oil is too expensive to use on salads every evening. For those readers who want a special occasion EVOO and are not concerned about price, this white truffle oil might be a suitable choice. I will save it for a special occasion and will not reorder it.

This has a really nice flavor which could be great for cooking and possibly for salads, or similar. And I think we know that truffles are generally fairly expensive. But this is a very small bottle and it's mostly olive oil.So I like the product, but at the current price, you don't get much of it and again it's not cheap. 4 star rated.

This is just an OK white truffle olive oil. The truffle taste is there, but it's not as pronounced as it is in other truffle-infused olive oils I've tried. The olive oil itself is of decent quality but nothing particularly special or distinctive about it. The bottle is quite small (3.4 oz) which, on a per-ounce basis, makes this quite expensive compared with other truffle options. It's not unique or distinctive enough to justify the cost per ounce.It's certainly useable, especially if you want a light truffle taste, but it's not nearly as good of a value as other options. Three stars.
