Reach for the stars
In beautiful, bold space-themed colors, illustrator Aserr's pictures accompany a wonderful story about a girl who dreams of becoming an astronaut. When her self-imposed training doesn't go as planned, she realizes that she doesn't have to do things alone. There is always someone ready to support us and help her along the way. All she has to do is ask.

Extraordinary storybook!
Extraordinary story with beautiful illustrations. The characters in the book are enchanting and heartfelt. I read this book to my students and they absolutely adored it! Read this book for a an exciting adventure and inspire your kids to be whatever they want to be!

Age range too braod
Cute book but I’d say it’s for 3-4 year olds only. My 5 year old wasn’t into it and she loves space which is why I bought it. It felt too babyish for her

As an educator, I can confidently say this is a terrible book
I was looking for an astronaut/space themed book for my child, especially one with a POC protagonist, that would inspire more space exploration concepts. This is NOT that book.Essentially, this little girl tries to make a rocket ship, etc. in her home but it discouraged by her dad because she’s making a mess. Then she goes to sleep and goes on “missions” that all go wrong. When she wakes up she tells her dad they all went wrong, and then asks for help. So the dad makes her all the stuff she originally tried to make before…QUICK SYNOPSIS: Nothing this girl did on her own was good enough. Then she has dreams that she can’t do anything right. Followed by her dad doing everything for her.I read it once and returned it.
