A bit more 'chatter' to the blade then I like. But it's a decent blade for the money. It will not give a perfectly smooth (polish type cut) cut.. There is some minor chatter or vibration, that get's transferred to the tile.. Most tile professionals would spend more money, on a higher quality blade. But this one works pretty good (NOT great by any means), but you'll need to slow your cuts a LOT to get a decent edge on the tile. Overall...... It is well worth the money.. But there are some tiles, a perfectionist like me... Would not WANT to use this blade on.. Especially for mitred corner joints..

I chose this blade to cut granite veneer (average thickness (1" to 1.5"), dry stacked (no grout) for two fireplaces. I pretty much had to cut all 4 sides of the stone to be able to fit the stone together correctly. We wanted a free form look. The blade cut all of the stone in the picture so far. I do expect the blade to last through completion of the fireplace. 32.5 square feet of surface. I honestly did not think it would hold up when I bought this blade. So far, it shows no sign of wearing out. A great value.

I cut Mexican floor tile 1 in h thick with no problem

Well made and good for tile, but too thick (slow and wasteful) for lapidary.
