These are a must if you have carpet. I used to use them only when we moved but now I keep them under some of my heavier furniture at all times so I can easily rearrange furniture by myself or move it to vacuum under or behind. Under a lighter weight chair you might not want to keep it permanently as your chair will move easily when you sit down. They are dark brown and black so they aren’t so noticeable.In any case, these are great to easily move furniture (even a glass cabinet and appliances) on carpet.

I wanted to be able to move a Queen sized bed at least once a week; it had 12 casters, and they were sitting 'in' a carpet and didn't lend themselves to being easily moved; I tried putting the sliders under the casters, and they just slid off. I'll have to fossick around and seek a better idea - (help! From anyone).

I have a metal frame bed and a huge dresser that I refused to move before these. They are strong and sturdy and they make moving furniture much easier. Not feather light but less of a struggle. I did have 1 issues the one container I did receive was missing one but of the sliders which I thought was silly but I did contact the seller and they were so amazing about fixing the issue. I have to buy more for the other bedroom and I have been recommending to friends and family
