If you are a beginner and want to catch more fish, more diverse species, of all different sizes; get these with the power bait/ trout magnet 1 or 2 inch pink worm on ultralight gear and 4 to 6 lb test flourocarbon line. Obviously you won't be fishing gigantic saltwater species but you'll catch most freshwater species of all sizes and even some of the smaller saltwater species too.

Insert One of these in a Trout Killer or use it as a jig with a plastic wiggler. Tie it on tight because they are not cheap.

These are the best. We use them each year for bream, catfish, etc.
