This unit is fantastic. So easy to use and I made sure to print off the comment about using a different number ratio and it's working fantastic. My Chiropractor said all machine brands work differently which is why there is such a difference between the looks of the water when he does my treatments and the looks of the water with this unit I am using on my hubby. He also said that Himalayan salt has all the minerals in it which makes a difference and that difference makes the coils work harder shortening their life. They use sea salt only and it works great on me. I have sea salt too so am going to switch. I will be using this unit too as soon as my pre paid for sessions at my chiropractor are all used up. Should have used the $200.00 I paid up front at the chiropractor for this unit. You might want to purchase a tub or 2 as it's hard to find the right size in the stores. You really want the proper size as the water gets heavy if the tub is too big.My unit got here without a scratch and that's saying something as our package delivery systems here are so wacky the packages incur damage from sticky stuff that never entirely dries to holes in the boxes and the sealing tape undone. Some, rather than come up on the porch will toss the package up by the door and rap on the side of the house so you can imagine what happens at times to the contents.

Received the Ion Detox in new condition. There was a tiny scratch/hole in the protective case it came in (it may be beneficial to mark packaging as fragile, as it came to me not in the best shape) and the key that was sent with it doesn't fit, however I have no need to lock the case so it makes no difference to me if the key works or not.The machine works beautifully, I have not had any issues. I love how both sides can operate at the same time or add a second person at any point while the first is going you can! Or if you need just one side that works great too! The heat belt is adjustable in its temperature, or can be turned off completely. No complaints about the product, but inspect the case when you get it.UPDATE: I have been using this for work. After about 3 years it had a few minute delay in starting up. Now I can wait up to 15 minutes and most of the time it won't work at all, which is embarrassing as a service provider. I have tried different arrays, no difference. This product works great (when it decides to work), but was hoping it would last a lot longer especially for the cost.

This machine was a disappointment . It comes with a belt that only fits if you are not overweight . I bought it specifically to improve my health but I can't use it because the belt is too small . It should have given the size of the belt in the ad .Warning you can only use this product if you are not overweight .

It seems there are pros and cons to detoxing. The color of the water changing is also a hot topic. There are soo many machines at soo many prices. I decided on this one and love it. Easy to use and came with instructions unlike the the more popular cheaper model. As for the controversy .............I use my foot spa that has heat ,message and bubbles. I use sea salt and add essential oils. Now to me that is a great combination. As for the ionic detox just research and you will see it has been around longer than some of the people with the negative opinions. I chose to trust longevity of the treatment concept and not the inconsistently of opinions and new research based on.......??? It is my health and my choice and this machine is a blessing.Update.....Wow! It came on time and undamaged. Easy instructions and the machine is lightweight. The waist belt heats up and feels great. I did not know about the conductor gel for the wrist band so my machine beeped to let me know there was not good contact.You can use inexpensive epsom salt or sea salt and add other things like essential oils or buy ready made foot soak products. Shop around for the best deal on conductor gel. I purchased the bags on line in bulk to cover our foot spas but just plain trash bags will do in a pinch.The water turned as described. Now whether it was from the ion or my toxins is debatable for some. I just know this machine is worth the effort to improve my health. My husband and I can relax together while improving our health in the privacy of our home. No visits to spas at a fee per visit up to 14 visits . This machine has paid for itself already.

The infra red belt shorted and caught on fire and the plastic wire melted and ruined my sofa. I got bad burns on my back it lit up fast and I couldn't get the belt off fast enough and it burned my back where it connects to the pad just over my kidney and contacted the company but they only asked the same questions over and over again and nothing got resolved. The console cover has sunk and it hard to push the buttons. This is a second rate product that I wish I never bought. The plastic melted on my microfiber sofa and melted holes in it. Now I have scars and a damaged sofa and wasted my money with this.

WAY TO MUCH HASSLE WITH THEM.. I BOUGHT TWO MACHINES. BOTH BROKE DOWN IN LESS THAN 10 USES.. I UNPACKED THE ORDER WAY AFTER I BOUGHT THEM. YET THEY WERE NOT EVEN FOUR MONTHS OLD YET THE THREE MONTHS WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED. I PAID 85 DOLLARS TO RETURN THEM AND THEN FOR AFTER 6 WEEKS I WILL NOT GET INFORMED AS TO REPAIR STATUS TIL I CONTACTED AMAZON THEY REFUNDED THE MONEY BACK. WHEN IT WORKS THEY ARE GREAT. ONE OF THEM ARRIVE WITH A LOOSE PIECE INSIDE THAT WHEN YOU MOVE THE MACHINE YOU FELL THE PIECE/SCREW ROLLING.

Beautiful product~unbelievable results~when my husband threw out the warer he said it looked like something he cooked. The water was orange, black flecks, and much foam ontop of the entire tub~my second detox and i'm not stoping~i've been so sick with chronic farique, rhumotoid arthritis, celiac, I am tired of being in a doctors practice with no answes but take another pill~the pills are posioning my body~
