Excellent compressor

It's a great compressor; however, it was not compatible with my Reticon-based flangers. No matter where I placed the compressor (separate power, galvanically isolated power, placement up/down stream, front of amp, effects loop, with/without added buffer, Lehle isolation transformers, etc.), the flanger picked up the faint background charge pump noise (before the noise gate fully engaged).Clearly, this is a flanger issue, but these old-school Reticon based flangers (see example in attached photo) are particular and highly sensitive to placement and I was hoping for a compatible compressor.I ended up using it in front of my Redplate AstroDust Duo and Cobra TKT 183 amps. It works great (sans the Reticon flangers).My only wish is for a switchable buffer like the Suhr Koji compressor (realizing the mini format likely makes this very difficult). The Suhr Koji's buffer (switched to always on) allows flexible placement of downstream fuzz pedals to work well with other sensitive upstream pedals (e.g., vibes, wahs, etc.).I also understand the design compromises required for making the pedal 9VDC compatible with vast clean gain headroom, thus necessitating the use of an internal charge pump circuit (assumed).

This pedal is by far a great bang for your buck. It’s small in size so it doesn’t take up room on a pedalboard, but gives you so much more. I would definitely recommend this pedal!
