Good fit. Excellent quality for the price
It’s an interestingly tight fit. Use the tool provided to open it up easily and the other to thread the strap ends. I use it in a the office and outdoors in an industrial plant setting. It’s solid and I have dropped it a couple times, once on concrete (not using the hand strap). No issues. Works well with the Apple pen 2 and charges it, which were my greatest concerns. I did not even remove my thin glass screen protector. If I was to critique anything, it would be the stand. If clicked open, which requires a bit of fiddling to ensure it locks open under the strap, it stays up well. It works fine so far. If there is a weak point, this will probably be it. I’m pretty picky, but this would still be a great product for 2-3X the price.

Easy to use
The media could not be loaded. I’m happy with this iPad case and screen protector. It was easy to open, add the iPad and assemble it back together. It feels good in my hands. The design makes it feel sturdy and the size is perfect for my iPad 2022 5th generation. I don’t see myself using the strap. The hand holder on the back is secure.

Maximum protection for your precious iPad
Having owned several iPads in succession, I know well how vulnerable they are. If you drop an unprotected iPad onto a tile floor, you will almost certainly damage it. And because they are so slippery, it is nearly inevitable drops will occur. Usually the result of a drop is a crack in the screen’s glass. When I buy a new iPad, I always opt for Apple’s extended warranty, which covers cracked screens — up to a maximum of three occurrences, I believe. My current iPad is a Generation 4 Air. This tablet is indispensable to me, and accompanies me through my day. Because of the iPad’s vulnerability a case is a must-have, and for me, beyond providing protection, my iPad’s case needs to provide a comfortable way of holding the iPad when sitting or, my favorite indulgence, lying in bed watching movies.I tried a couple of those big foam iPad holders but found both to be poorly constructed and unable to reliably hold the iPad unless I used Velcro. Even then the foam holders lost their shape and eventually became useless. The approach for this case is far more effective. My iPad has already survived two drops, one of them particularly nasty, with no damage. And, the generously wide borders surrounding the screen give me a holding place that keeps my fingertips away from the glass. (Touching an iPad’s screen inadvertently always triggers something.)The rear of the case incorporates a clever mechanism that enables propping up the iPad so it rests on a table for use with a Bluetooth keyboard. Because the mechanism rotates, it will prop up the iPad in either landscape or portrait orientation, or even multiple positions in between. The stand and its related components are minimally designed, and therefore, I suspect, are vulnerable to breakage if used in a ham-handed manner. The following procedure describes how to extend the support stand, and how to retract it, in a way that should ensure this vulnerable competent does not fail.To extend the plastic prop-up stand, insert your fingertip into the curved bottom of the stand and pull it out to its full extent. Then, using your thumb, gently push down on the top of the stand until it clicks into place. Do not try to click it into place by pulling harder on the bottom. To retract the stand, use your index finger to hold in the tab that rests behind the top of the stand. Push the tab in firmly to release the stand from its locked position, and when you feel the lock disconnect, put gentle pressure on the bottom of the stand to return it to its folded position. If you exert excess force, this component may break. (Though mine never did.) The right technique will spare you such a fate. Also mounted on the back is a fabric strap you can use for carrying or to hold the machine steadily in one hand. Neither application appealed to me, and the strap interfered with the pop-up mechanism, so I removed the strap using an Xacto knife and do not miss it.On the front, the case’s borders encroach slightly on the extreme outer edges of the screen. This can lead to problems when, say, swiping down vertically to bring up the Control Center. With a little practice I developed a technique that involves brief, brisk swipes that trigger the desired action. This side effect of the case’s maximum protection of the iPad can, as I described, can be worked around, so it is not a deal breaker.I like the case’s robust design and how, being all black, it disappears from view when I use my iPad. It’s priced reasonably, and should take you to the next generation of iPads, whose screens will be larger. Good luck!

Excellent product for the price
The Case for iPad Air 5th/4th Generation is a game-changer when it comes to protecting my iPad Pro 11 inch. Its military-grade protective cover has proven to be a reliable shield against accidental drops and bumps, ensuring my device stays safe and sound. The design is not only rugged but also remarkably sleek and stylish, adding a touch of professionalism to my tablet. It fits like a glove and allows easy access to all ports and buttons, making it incredibly user-friendly. Whether I'm using my iPad for work or play, this case has become an essential companion, providing peace of mind without compromising on style or functionality. I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking to safeguard their iPad Pro while maintaining its sleek appearance.

As good as an Otter Box I previously bought and better options
At first I was going to send this back as it seemed flimsy and I had a hard time getting it together. I am very intuitive and usually very adapt at putting things together. I was distracted and busy at the time and decided to stop an pay attention and voila it went together. It is highly functional, I love the shoulder strap and the Velcro hand strap, and I finally figured out the kick stand when I stopped trying to put it together while multitasking trying to do 5 things at once. I do not use the Apple pen so I can’t comment on the functionality of the slot for one but it sure seems better than the Otter BOX that I paid $80.00+ dollars for. I have used an IPad for 10 years and my original IPad Air had an Otter Box on it that was great. When I received my Otter Box for my new IPad Air 5 Gen the Otter Box was cheaply made and that is when I bought this one to compare it. I am very happy with it and definitely recommend it. For those who have given this product a bad review, they probably didn’t stop to pay attention to how this goes together. Yes it was a bit tricky to get the tabs clicked in after using an Otter Box as they go together differently but slow down and you will love the end result.

Good news, bad news
Good news— the grip is comfortable and easy to rotate. It feels solid. Holds the pencil well.Bad news— The directions for attaching it to iPad were terrible, plastic film is already scratched, doesn’t grip tightly on longer sides, and hard to get to charging plug.

Great product.
This case is perfect. It’s durable, tough, and it looks great. I love the stand and palm strap that are attached to the case. It also comes with a shoulder strap. My only complaint is that the instructions for putting it together were a little confusing. All in all it’s fairly self explanatory, but instructions more clearly explained would have been better.
