This is a good bench for a bathroom as it seems to take moisture and even water splashes well so far. I purchased a natural colored bench first , and took a risk as there were zero reviews at the time. The bench came quick and very well made. I was impressed so I purchased a second in black. The black one arrived with defects so I reached out to the seller. Sadly the seller never responded so a week and two different attempts to message the seller later, I requested a replacement from Amazon which I received. I’m knocking a star off just because the seller never followed through.

Well made, nice finish, cut out "handle" convenient, but definitely not a safe choice for seniors with balance issues. I wear size 8 shoe, am not overweight, 77 and thought it would be perfect for bed stool. First off, barefoot the handle cut out is uncomfortable, it's suited for one foot only and worst - it's unstable in an instant. I foresee a bad accident waiting to happen so I won't use it. Too bad, as I stated, it's well crafted.

Well made, good looking stepstool but tippy! The adults and children in our household fell off repeatedly. If you place feet anywhere but the center, it tips over. Would not recommend for children or older people.

This product appears to be well constructed. The style and finish makes it blend well with other furniture. It's no assembly required and was shipped in an inner and outer box. It's just high enough to be used as a step up for a taller bed. I did add a piece of non-slip material to the top. I would order again should I need another.

Broke within 5 minutes.

Arrived with a broken leg

I needed this for my wife. After knee replacement, she couldn’t get in our car as it was too high. This step height was perfect. And the the slot for my hand was perfect to move it in and out of the car. Study and I think will last for quite a while. Very pleased!!

I bought stool to help reach high bookshelves and for help with shades. The bookshelves are made of teak, and so I selected the teak color stool. Since it is made of pine (much less expensive than teak), it still looks a little more yellow than the shelves, but it is close enough for the room.
