I'm not a big reviewer unless a product is either horrible or great but let me promise you this product works. I just bought this a few days ago cause my dog got fleas from my sisters place. I usually start treating my dog in march but we were not having a problem yet and honestly money has been a little tight but when I seen the fleas crawling all over my dachshund I went ahead and ordered this after seeing the 5 star reviews and its not a bad bang for your buck.I put on the treatment as told to do so per the directions yesterday and within hours I seen the fleas starting to die and I woke up this morning to no more on her. This stuff is great. I will be stocking up on this for the future and hope this brand sticks around.

Caused Allergic Reaction
I’m giving 3 stars overall as it caused a severe allergic reaction in both my dogs. On my Shih Tzu it caused what looked liked a chemical burn or reaction, every area it was applied turned bright red and caused major itching and his skin flaked off. With my Chorkie it wasn’t quite as severe, but did cause redness and itching. I had to give them several baths and use a soothing balm on the areas. My dogs do have allergies and sensitivities but have never had a response like this before with a flea medication. This product may be great and work well for others but sadly it wasn’t great for us. I can’t really recommend it sadly, but if it works for you and your furry babes that’s great. If your pets have allergies or sensitivities then use with caution.

Neurological rear leg weakness and vomiting bile since first dose 7/25/19
CAVEAT: First dose was taken on 7/25/19. My Papillion experienced rear leg weakness and vomited bile. Vet visit on 7/30 and rear leg Xrays show no rear leg defects. She received anti-inflammatory medication. I had not made the connection to the new flea medication then. Visit cost $310. 2nd visit sched on 8/20/19 for blood tests likely another $300. Checked on FDA site for flea medications noted warnings on flea and tick treatments causing neurological side effects. Praying rear leg weakness will pass. I will follow up after I get blood test results. I contacted Tevra Pet prior to 7/25/19 and told not to worry medication is safe.

Superior results
I have two 13 pound dogs, outside often and we live in a country setting. About 5 years ago I started with Frontline and couldn't beat the fleas. Switched to Advantix II but had to couple it with Comfort for results. Last Fall started with this product and again this Spring. My dogs have not scratch even once and I've seen no fleas and only 1 tick ( honestly not even sure what the heck this particular parasite was but it was attached like a tick). I'm not sure if it is just a lesser year for fleas but what a relief. Seemingly no side effects, ( a bit of a reaction from one pup - seems a little depressed or slower for a day) but the other meds REALLY bothered him with nerve tingling so much better. Overall, I don't like meds but the fleas and ticks so profuse I have to pick lesser of 2 evils. So far, this seems great.

Keeps Mosquitoes and Fleas Off My Pet As Well As K9 Advantix
UPDATE 2 WEEKS LATER: Product has stopped working completely. Dog has fleas again. Do NOT BUY. Save your money and get the Advantix II. I have no idea why it doesn't work even though the ingredients are the same, but trust me, it does not.---------I bought this on a whim and used it on my 16 week old puppy. The only difference I notice between this product and K9 Advantix II is that this product does not stop the itching like K9 Advantix II has always seemed to do. Other than that, so far it keeps fleas, ticks and mosquitoes away as advertised.
