I wouldn't trust the parallel port to push data to and from it these days. This device does NOT behave well with a parallel to USB converter. The apps for it are dangerously outdated to make it useful as its intended purpose. Be prepared to have ancient hardware to interface with it. Otherwise look up a coders cable or BBA (if you can find one) to interface with it if you desire to use it as it was designed. Then again if you are going that route a Nexus card is sort of unnecessary and more of a convenience.Otherwise is a solid memory card for the Sega Dreamcast. Supports pagination as 4Meg cards tend to and none of my games have given me issues with it. Its SLIGHTLY longer than a standard VMU, which was annoying with some rumble paks that I tested as it tended to rub a bit when used at the same time. I just put it in slot 2 where the rumble pak typically goes and it was fine. This may or may not be an issue for certain peripherals like the arcade stick and fishing controller, but its fine with the standard Sega controller.
