d-c-fix 346-0611 Decorative Self-Adhesive Film, Birch Wood, 17" x 78" Roll

In less than an hour I measured, cut out, fitted and photographed two awkward shelves in a tiny cupboard!I had been thinking of using wallpaper to cover two ugly but practical MDF shelves when I came across this d-c-fix products and thought I would give it a try. I carefully measured and cut the sticky black plastic with a rotary cutter on a cutting pad but a Stanley knife would do the same job, before starting to peel the backing off and sticking it onto the shelf using a felt edge vinyl applicator to smooth out any bubbles. I've read several reviews saying that you can use a credit card to do the same job but the specially designed applicator is nearly double the size, has a soft edge and at just over £1, you won't regret buying one. It was a little bit fiddly but it was a tiny and odd shaped area I was working with however the job was made so much easier by the fact that you can peel it back and re-adjust if necessary.I really liked the design which looked suitably vintage for a small Victorian cottage - very shabby chic.All in all I am absolutely delighted with the results and for less than £10 for the whole job I would highly recommend this product!

This product is fantastic!! Perfect for transforming or breathing life into your upcycling projects. If your interior design style is Boho-glam/vintage/eclectic this item is a must have!! I have used this to upcycle an old record player, which now looks absolutely stunning, and has had so many compliments. It adheres to surfaces extremely well, ive had no problems at all. My next project is to use it to line the back of a retro cabinet - I'm excited!! The current delivery times will clearly differ, due to the challenging times we find ourselves in. However, the company responded very quickly to my emails and were deeply apologetic even though delays weren't there fault, I can't praise them enough.

Great colour, it is not wide enough to cover deep kitchen cabinets but it looks lovely. I found it really hard to stick on without creasing and bubbling. The butterflulies are really big so not as delicate looking. I would buy again.

This is really attractive and looks like mosaic tiles - I used it as a splash-back behind my kitchen worktops and it looks great! Makeover your kitchen quickly and cheaply!
