It's what you would expect.. except
It's the usual plastic food storage container as you would expect, except the clips open from the top if you know what I mean, so you just flip the clips with your thumbs on the top as opposed to the usual using you fingers kind of underneath..I hope you get what I mean. This may be an advantage to some if you would prefer that. I have got the Sistema Spaghetti container and that has the easily removable seal for cleaning and drying but this one hasn't got that so that isn't standard for Sistema (I thought that maybe it was), so the seal is difficult to remove for cleaning just like every other brand; some might say that you don't need to remove the seal, but I find water does get trapped there and can get grubby also, so I prefer the easily removable type if possible. I've just been reading some of the other reviews and some of them were complaining it leaks; well yea, it's only got two clips for quick and easy access and actually I'm not sure why anyone would put liquids in this type of container anyway! This is obviously for dry food, sandwiches etc. with two clips that are easy to open; I don't think it will keep food fresh for centuries.

Solid leakproof container - useful size
Use this for the most common reason - to store food in the fridge/transport it. No problems with leaks or air-tightness, useful size, stacks well.Pretty robust. The only minor annoyance is that the clips are no longer available as spares. ought this to replace an existing one but really only a broken clip was needed. (I understand it was previously possible to get replacement clips - a pity that's no longer possible (i guess not viable commercially) because the main container was still in fine shape. Clips are not particularly fragile but are much more likely to break over time than the main container parts. )Excellent product that should give years of reliable service.

Lids don't secure properly
I have been using Sistema boxes for years - mainly to store bits of electronics, flash drives, SIM cards etc for my techy job. The lids have ALWAYS clipped on tight - to the extent that if the corner of a plastic bag is trapped in the seal, the clip won't clip. However these don't even clip! The clip part does close, but without a click and will flop open again.Actually useless. Even worse for food storage. What has happened, Sistema? They used to be so good!I would return but it's almost not worth the hassle

My name is Eve and I'm a tupperwaraholic..
I find Sistema stuff to be really reliable quality. Well made and have a good seal. They wash well. I always seek the brand out now when buying any kitchen storage stuff, after having many a rubbish product from other cheaper brands. They also come in lots of really useful sizes, from tiny little cubes ideal for sauces for pack lunches or baby food, to larger sectioned ones. They also do some great water bottles.I'm not a brand ambassador by the way...just a bit of a "tupperware" nerd!!

Not leak proof
Its definitely not leak proof as I put water in to clean it. I shook it and water was coming out. I had a different brand before and water doent come out. Nice size to replace old box.Hit the like button as I'm not paid for the review.
