I would prefer a stouter cable. However, the length of the right angle 3.5mm plug (as shown in the comparison shot) is nice and long, allowing it to pass through a protective case, that would bar other right angle plugs from making complete connection with the jack.

This is a MUCH deeper reach angled plug that fits perfectly into deep phone or IPOD cases. I just use this one for my phone, and a slightly less deeper reaching plug for my IPOD. It's nice not having to take it off and swap it out all of the time.

I've bought probably ~5ish various (Chinese) brands of 3.5mm 4-pole extension cables. I've found that these are the best out of them.They're reasonably cheap. They're fairly durable (one of these is starting to occasionally disconnect from the microphone after ~2 years with lots of constant bending). The right-angle jack fits all my devices/cases.Other brands were either more expensive, had the microphone either not work at all, or the jacks somehow didn't fit in my devices/cases.Hence, I like these. They're not the cheapest and they're not the best built, but they work reliably for their price. I fully expect them to wear out in a few years of regular use and/or bending/twisting, though.

The soft cloth covered cable is very light and flexible. I got it to extend my headphones to my switch and it works great for that. The female end of the cable is clicky and feels secure on my headphone cable end. It says NeoMusica on the end of the cable.I have had no problems with noise or reduced sound quality over plugging my headphones into my switch directly. So far, the cable has helped me achieve a winning record in Fortnite and I am getting better every day. No matter how hard you sweat, I will make you look like a noob. I will hear your sobs to your mama through this cable in perfect clarity as you cry about how mean I was to you and how you need more pizza rolls.

Purchased to use with HyperX Cloud Stinger headsets for my PS4. Works great with the PS4 as it has the proper number of sections and provides mic and sound function. Keeps the headset wire from being crunched if you hold the controller close to your body while playing. Otherwise it should work great in any application for a PC or laptop where the single port application is necessary and a 90 degree adapter is needed to work.

Remains to be seen if it holds up long-term, but for now? I don't have to worry about pulling my Switch over while it's on the dock and I'm using my phone earbuds.

Nice quality pigtail for a gaming headset I use.Mic/Headphone combo cable with the 90° elbow makes holding the xbox controller and audio adapter a little bit easier and I don't worry that the headphone jack is going to damage from bending stress/fatigue.Seems like a well put together product crafted with good materials. Also, a good fit for cell phone cases with tight audio port holes. This cable is not chunky on the male end.

I purchased this after my rather expensive earphones developed a fault where the cable near the jack broke. Fortunately I got them repaired under warranty. So with some new earphones I needed to make sure such a thing didn't happen again. So to help relieve any pressure around the jack area, I decided this extension cable was just what I needed. The cord is a braided material, so hopefully it won't get too tangled. The jack is at a 90 degree right angle to help relieve any pressure. And finally it will pass through the commands from a set of earphones/headphones that have a remote built into their cable.

I bough this for my lad as he has had a couple of headsets for his x-box controllers where the wire leading to the 3.5 mm plug on the headset has frayed from being bent too far. This will hopefully stop now as the right angled connector allows the cable to fall downwards, rather than straight out and therefore there is less stress on the cable leading to the headset.

It's quite difficult to get very short audio extension leads... most seem to start at a 1metre, or possible half a metre in length. That's absolutely fine and understandable... I have many such cables. However, for this application I wanted an extension cable that was less than 1foot long. The KetDirect is perfect for my needs. It works very well so far. I particularly like the braided cable covering, it doesn't kink or tangle as much as plastic coated cables do. This is a great little cable and I will buy some longer ones in the future too I reckon.

Purchased to connect a Rode Videomic to an iPhone 8 Plus via an official Apple lightning to 3.5mm TRRS adapter. Doesn't work but does work with a TRRS lav mic so can only presume that the wiring is incorrect. Ineligible for a return so not impressed - would have been helpful if the description gave a bit more detail and not just a badly written blurb saying it's compatible with most smart phones.Have decided to cut my losses and go for the official Rode adapter.Won't use this seller again because of the lack return options.

This was to replace a 3 core extension lead that caused a drop out of one channel when I connected it to my earphones. Who knew that those funny little decorative lines on the end of the jack actually did something? Well, I didn't but I do now. After a lot of research, I finally found out that a 4 core set of earphones needed a 4 core extension lead to get all the sound. Bingo! The sound is now excellent and this extension lead is easily foldable to tidy away..It wold have been nice to have found a white one as all my other equipment is white but this is a nice item and I'm glad to have great sound back as well as having learned something.
