EASY PEASE YSMOKE DETECTORS
I loved that they have a long battery life.. I LOVE that they were easy to install with the double sided tape!!! Best value for price for three!! LOVE THEM!! Already recommended to a friend.. :)

Works well enough. Easy to install
Came with 9 pages of instructions that were very easy to understand. A nice feature is the option to install with a magnetic base which attaches with adhesive tape. I have no idea if these detectors are of any quality. On inspection they appear to be rather well constructed and according to the enclosed literature seem to have some high end features. However, like anything of this nature how does one really know if in the end they will work as well as they appear. The biggest concern I have with these is the alarm sound. It says it puts out 85db, but I noticed that the pair I purchased both sounded less loud than the Kidd or first alert products that actually give you an unpleasant sound to your ears. These seemed milder in comparison, so maybe not for the elderly or hard of hearing.

Easy install and convenience with the 10 year battery
Very easy install with the single screw / adhesive mount. Only time will tell if the battery indeed lasts 10 years.

These alarms come with ineffective batteries
If I could rate zero stars I would. We installed 5 out of the six alarms throughout our home and within two weeks of installing, one of the alarms started chirping, indicating the battery was low. I read through some troubleshooting guides and turned the alarm off, then on to reset it. That lasted a day, then it started chirping again. Since the batteries are internal, there is no way to install new batteries. I ditched that chirping alarm and installed the 6th alarm that came with the package.Immediately, the 6th alarm started going off randomly for no reason, and even though I shut it off, it kept going off. I ended up having to smash it with a hammer to pull out the battery so that when it went in the dumpster, it would not continue going off. Immediately uninstalled all of the detectors and ordered First Alert alarms with replaceable batteries.Don't trust the battery life claims of these detectors – you never know the manufacture date, so who knows how long they've been sitting on the shelf in China, or in some container ship somewhere. I suggest buying name-brand alarms like First Alert or Kidde with replaceable batteries.

Una de las alarmas empezo a sonar con un chillido como si la bateria se estuviera agotando y se supone que no son recargables, esto me paso despues de un mes de uso, tuve que quitarla
