Sensor Works great!
My oil gauge on my 04 Silverado 5.3 was not working, and this oil pressure sensor fixed that issue. Well made, and works just fine. Would buy again if needed.

I got oil pressure!
When my gauge read 10 to 05 lbs. oil pressure I tested it with a manual gauge. It was correct. I rebuilt the bottom end and brought it up to 75 lbs pressure on idle and 70 lbs at 2,500 rpm. Good to go.Then it dropped off to 05 lbs again, only this time it was the sending unit. Replaced it with this one and "all is well in Tahoe City."Correct application, it fit the first try and works perfectly.

Works, but a hard part to get to on some trucks.
Just changed it and it’s working as it should. This is a pain in the butt to swap out. Just awkward to get to. I changed this in a 2004 Chevy 1500. It’s located at the back of the engine between the engine and firewall. You have to do it by feel (can’t see it). The setup that worked for me was a 1 and 1/16” deep well socket. Put the ratchet on a 10” extension with a swivel connecting the extension to the socket. If your truck is lifted, you’ll end up laid out across the engine. You need to come from the drivers side. Don’t over tighten it.
