Says 2000 pages? More like 600
I know exactly how many pages I printed because I started a new pack of 500 sheets of paper at the same time as replacing my cartridge in mid October (I know because I write the install date on the cartridge with a sharpie). I finished one pack of paper and just opened the second pack last night, so I've only printed abut 550-600 sheets. AAAAND Cartridge dead... it says expect 2000 sheets and I got about 1/4 of that! The last cartridge I bought from staples lasted me 6 months, this one only a month. Super annoyed- I'm on a deadline and now I have to rush out and buy another! Did they give the crappy ones to Amazon?

200 pages at most
I bought this toner from Amazon on May 16th. I need to print only occasionally and tonight the printer stopped printing and gave the message that new toner is needed. I have printed, maybe, 200 pages, probably fewer. The last Brother TN 630 toner lasted a couple of years. I didn't buy that from Amazon and I wonder whether Amazon has been given a sub-quality product to sell.

Wrong Product
I searched for TN-730 (for my MFC-L2710DW printer) and this item (TN-660) came up as a result of the search. Dumb me, I didn't pay attention to the description and ordered it last August when the printer started telling me it was low on toner. Well, today the printer won't print anything because it says the toner supply is exhausted. OK, so it is now time to install the new cartridge I ordered last August, only to find out it is the wrong cartridge, AND the return window is closed. SO, I am stuck with an unopened cartridge that won't fit my printer and no way to return it. Please be aware that the search feature in Amazon has, how shall we say, a very wide latitude when it returns results. I'm giving an overall three-star rating since I don't really know how well it works. Value is lower than that because the price is MUCH higher than the competition.

Technical difficulties - low toner
I tried printing a university textbook, and it got through less than 200 pages before showing an error on toner again. I looked up troubleshooting solutions online, and I'm not the first to run into this problem. I am extremely dissapointed with the brother brand, seriously just go with another printing brand entirely or just send your printing to a staples or library. It will end up costing a lot cheaper.

Good, but Expensive, and Recyling Post Stamp N/A in Canada
In the past, I bought black toner for a DCP-L2540DW printer that wasn't the Brother Brand and I got pretty bad results. The ink would fade by rubbing the paper. I bought the Brother toner because I didn't want to experience that again. I haven't had issues with this one, except there are two things I want to point out.1. The price is triple the price of other toners.2. Inside the box, there is a posting stamp to return your old toner for recycling. While this is a great initiative, the post stamp only works in the U.S. It's a shame that there is a post stamp for Canadian purchasers. This would encourage purchasers to recycle their old toner.
