Danco 89331 Sink Hole Cover, White

wonderful color and no water leaking from it absolutely perfect engineering.

I have a marble counter that I didn't want to put a stopper in, and this one is NOT a bright white, which made it perfect for my needs, and it is sturdy and looks to be holding up. It's a good value.

I ordered the "White" model from Amazon. When it arrived, the packaging calls it "Ice White Finish". In fairness to Amazon, the images on their website match the product's blue-grey tone quite closely, but with respect to my white sink -- not so much -- as the accompanying photo shows. It'll do for now, but I'll be replacing it. As to sealing and installation, I have no complaints; just be sure the gasket is above the sink deck, centered in the hole, and hand-tightened from below. I didn't bother with additional sealant; it's water-tight but I imagine it might be susceptible to sliding when bumped so sealer would be advisable for a permanent installation -- as I said, I'll be replacing soon due to the color mismatch.

Easy to install and does its job sealing the hole on my sink.

The White is like a blue white. Like a very white LED bulb. It stands out quite a bit compared to the regular white of my bathroom sink and tile. I would give it 4-5 stars if it was closer, but I can't picture the white sink that color white is supposed to be attempting to match. I would venture to guess no sink matches the color white of this cap. With that said, the cap itself fits well. The large nut was easy enough to screw down. I may hit it with a coat of a more normal shade of white spray paint to knock the blue out of it.

Got this to cover a hole on sink at parents house and it did a good job and matched pretty well. Its only been on for a few weeks so I don't know if it'll discolor over time. Installation was easy as long as you have long stretchy hands to hold from above the sink while you reach other -- or you can have someone hold it in place. 1 minute to install and didn't have to clear under-sink cabinet.

I liked the sink hole cover. HOWEVER ,I did not like to pay $17.00 in Canada for an item that sells for $3.00 in the USA. I realize the is a money value difference BUT REALLY !

Product is exactly as described but the color is way off. This is “white” but is clearly grey in both bathrooms.

We used this to block the drain that prevent overflows because the IKEA plumbing of the sink wasn’t compatible with our existing plumbing. It does the job but the colour is a bit off, it has a blueish tint.
