In this book Tom Tierney has captured the style created by Charles Dana Gibson, he has stayed true to the creator of the Gibson Girl in both the dolls and the fashions represented here using an artistic style and line work in his drawings. The fashions are exquisite as well and represent a narrow timeline from around 1890 to 1910. The dolls and fashions are not perforated and will require fine point scissors to cut them out. This book is guide to Gibson's work, and the fashions of the time, and is (in my opinion) not meant to be played with.

Good book, but too early in the century for my uses.

This is a very nice paper doll set. As a paper doll collector I'm never disappointed with Tom Tierney. This set comes with two Gibson Girl dolls and five gentlemen. The dolls have built in stands (they bend backward at the bottom). There are several outfits with a lot of detail. The artwork is beautiful as always. The colors are very bright and rich. The paper that the clothes are made of is the same as the paper the dolls are made of. It's very thick. There are six paragraphs about the history of the Gibson Girls inside the covers. All in all a very nice set for the price!
