MTX5512-44 - car subwoofers (Passive, 26-130 Hz)

Ive always loved MTX and still do no doubt. Just seemed this 15in sub wasnt shining like i thought it would be.. Had it hooked up to an MTX 2 channel amp and even bought the box from rockaudio that was said to be made for the 15in 5500.. None the less i returned it.. The MTX TERMINATOR TNP212DV (two 12s with amp combo) ironically hits twice as hard fhe old 2003 version of the 5500 (silver face) were amazing new is not always better when it comes to car audio... Id assume a bigger amp and two of the 5500s would sound pretty good.. STILL REPPIN MTX THO FOREVER...

I love mtx and their quality but I just bought 2 of these subs and one of them did not work at all I am very disappointed as they are kind of expensive the one that does work provides excellent quality and bass though and it does push a lot very nice, just very disappointed that one didn't work at all

Louder than the 2-12’s I had in prior. Followed mfg ported box guidelines and it hits haaaarrrrrdddddd. Matched with a punch 500x1 rms. Very satisfied.

I bought it replacing an MTX thunder 6000, and wanted to stick with MTX because that's what I had before and It worked fine for a long time. Overall when I had it, it sounded very good and worked well, but then in under a month of receiving it, it blew out and started making this awful buzzing noise 0/10 would not recommend.
