It works well.
It works well for flow but does little if anything to keep my cool water cool in the tubing. Not really much of a problem but no better then an un-insulatated tube in my limited experience. I would buy again though.

Works like a charm to replace my previous geigerrig line. I have not had an issue with the cover like previous reviewers. The water doesn't really stay cold in line but i am satisfied.

Buy this instead of individual pieces
Almost went to a big retail outdoor store to purchase a new bite valve and cover. Spend a few bucks more and got this insulated hose with valve and cover. Works by attaching to a quick connect adapter. Use it for hiking and kayaking in hot AZ sun and insulation keeps water in line cold. Before, I would drink a little hot water caught in line then cold in bladder but this resolves that issue.

Excellent Replacement
Works as an excellent replacement for my Salomon Hydrapak bladder in my Salomon Skin Lab pack. I do wish I could simply find the little rubber gaskets where the tube gets inserted into the bladder because that is what eventually breaks from disconnecting the tube over and over. It seems wasteful to buy a whole new tube each time.
