Not A Stick

Kid favorites
This and its companion book are excellent kid books - funny, simple, and relatable without being saccharine. They're short and straightforward enough that my very young toddler loves them, my older kid who's just reading can read them without help, and my oldest doesn't mind hearing them on repeat. The art is perfect and also avoids cutesiness while being really engaging. These are my go-to gifts for parents of toddlers. Highly recommended!

Exciting ideas for portals to imaginative adventures
Simple, clear yet very expressive illustrations for 2-7 year olds with clear adult/child conversational voices. The ‘child’ wins each ‘round’ of the safety excuse. Hooray!Encourage imagination PLEASE.Stop! . . .stopping children from playing outside/with sticks/dirt/mud/other children. . . .Teach them to take risks safely outside the “homogenised home” and enjoy the adventures available in an outside environment. Build goblin houses, dens, look for animal tracks (real or imaginary) and a myriad of ideas besides. This book will be a super starting point to lead you and your young, inquisitive adventurer into a variety of wonder worlds!
