I got one of these about 3 years ago to replace a series of mesh spatter screens. I'll never go back. This is amazing... and one of my friends loved mine so much that I got her one as a housewarming present.Food crisps nicely because of the perforations, but spatters don't get out. Fits a wide variety of pan diameters, and also keeps boiling spaghetti pots from overflowing (just turn it so the curve faces the bottom of the pot). Easy to clean by hand and also goes in the dishwasher. The handle is a nice size for managing it without burning yourself.

The media could not be loaded.  Good quality and easy to clean really reduces the splattering and feeling safer from getting scalded by oil! Love it although is a bit costly but it does muc much better than the marsh screen type !Highly recommend!

The screen does manage grease splatters and is much easier to clean than the screen type shield, BUT steam becomes liquid that drips from under the screen onto the stove or counter top and even down the cabinet door to floor. I haven't yet figured out how to deal with that problem!

This is the "perfect" splatter screen that's not a screen! This is quality, sturdy, easy to clean, & fits all my skillets/pans! My stovetop is even very happy since I've received it. No more greasy splatters all over my stovetop or the microwave mounted above my stove!

Keeps grease from splattering on you & works great for things like taco meat. Lets some steam escape & can be used like a lid to help drain liquid or fat from the edge of the pan while holding the food in. Unfortunately I bought it hoping it would keep the grease from getting all over the stove while I sauteed chicken breasts in olive oil, and it didn't work well for that purpose. The screen type splatter guard diffuses the grease so that it covers the stove in a fine mist of oil. With this type, the oil pools against the inside of the guard & spills on the stovetop as soon as you lift it. So it doesn't really help with cleanup as I'd hoped, it just concentrates more of the oil in one puddle. It also doesn't let out as much steam as the screen, so it's not good for achieving a crispy outer skin on the chicken. However I'm still glad I bought it, because it's good for other things!

Covering all the cooking like stir fry, making omelette so many other cooking.

I use this every time I fry. It fits all my fry pans and my ceramic top stove stays clean! that is perfect as far as I'm concerned!

It's ok and easier to clean than mesh style. However don't use on smaller than 12 " fry pans as it hangs over then drips all over stove top. It's too big. For a wok it would be great but too big for 10' or less size pans.

It’s so easy to use and to clean even though you can’t see in the pan like with a traditional splatter screen. It arrived early.

Gave it as gift and they’re real happy with it.
