I got this for baking bread. It’s really easy to use and the temperature adjusts quickly. Was a good buy for the price. I’d recommend.

Wish it hard on Auto Shut off.
Head line says it all. This is a great, simple easy to use instant read thermometer. BUT you have to make sure to hit the off button or it will stay on until the battery runs out. Which is of coarse one of those small round batteries. It's no frills, but can be calibrated, which you should do for the most accurate read. I use this same brand at work and they are fairly durable and VERY reliable. Plus it's super affordable.

Patience pays off
I have been looking one for a while but most look like a toy. I was watching a BBQ competition on TV and one of the contestants was using a lollipop style meat thermometer and I said that's it. So I looked for a legitimate one on Amazon.I received this one and was surprised when I turned it on it read my living room's temperature, wierd in good way, right?. I used it that night on Hamburgers ( medium to medium rare) and it performed perfectly. Looking forward to many great months of perfectly cooked meats.Update: Still works great!!!

I wanted a new meat thermometer for Christmas and this one fit the bill! Love it. Easy to read, easy to use. Stick it in what you are cooking, count to ten, read and eat!

It's easy to read, it takes seconds to give you a reading and you can record the max readings. It's also easy to clean because it's waterproof. Good product.

便利！用途いろいろ
料理などで今まで普通のガラスの温度計を使っていましたが、たまに落として割ってしまうのでこちらを購入。便利です。計測もガラスの温度計に比べれば断然早いです。コーヒーを入れる際の温度、パン作りなど先端が金属製で先細の形状なので、オーブンで肉を焼く際に刺して内部温度を確認できるかと。軽いので落としてもそうそう壊れることはないでしょう。不満な点は特にないですが、少し短い所ので電気ケトルの中に入ってしまう所でしょうか。説明書などは付属しておりませんでしたが、なんとなく使い方は分かる感じです。まあ特に不満はないですね。
