I have been using Brickell’s Body Wash for years so I was excited to try the Glycolic Acid Peel. I am so happy with the results and will definitely purchase again.The product has a pleasant scent and a sandy texture. The instructions say to apply and leave on for 5-15 minutes. On first use, I left the peel on for 15 minutes and that was definitely too long for my skin. I have used this product for five days and only left it on for five minutes each time after. It did leave my skin slightly red and mildly irritated, but that went away within 30 minutes and the recovery time is shortening as i continue to use it. But WOW….This product has truly improved the texture of my skin and smoothed out the wrinkles around my eyes. I have tried many products over the years, but none have had the impact that this peel did. The results after just 5 days are clearly visible and I cannot wait to see how much more my skin can improve with continued use!

The pun in the headline aside, this stuff is pretty incredible.I have pretty sensitive skin, but I used to work in a trade that kept me outdoors all day and my skin has built up a bit of resilience over the years. On my first use I swiped up a little too much from what was stuck to the inside of the lid, and then went ahead and left it on for at least 15 minutes. When I checked back in the mirror, I was pretty red and blotchy where it was obvious I put on too much. However, the redness subdued and dissipated in probably 20 minutes or less. When I washed off what was left on my skin, I couldn't believe it. My face was the smoothest and softest it's ever been. I was glowing, in a good way.The second round I knew to take it easy and follow the instructions by using only a pea sized amount and to just give it maybe 7-10 Minutes. It worked. No redness, all smooth sailing.Third time was a charm. Same results as the second except even smoother, brighter, and clearer. This stuff is incredible. If I felt comfortable posting a photo of my face on an Amazon review, I would for this stuff. I know a lot of people complain about the price for the amount you pay with Brickell products, but this product if definitely worth the bang for the buck. But if you have sensitive skin, consult with your dermatologist first. I have a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" green light from mine, so I had no worries using this.

I've never used a peel before, so I have no basis for comparison, but this feels very much like a scrub, except that you leave it on for 5-15 minutes before washing it off. Using it before showering (after waiting the requisite time) will help to remove all the abrasive particles.I don't have sensitive skin, so I feel just a slight tingling and no irritation at all. Within a day, there's usually some exfoliation of a thin layer of outer skin, leaving my forehead feeling very smooth and less oily. This in itself is pretty satisfying, though a visible difference is hard to detect. But I'm new to the skin care game after years of neglect, so I'm willing to be patient. This has paid off with other Brickell products I've tried.
