2pcs Metal Recliner Handles Replacement Parts for Chair Sofa Couch Release 6mm Black

I had failure of a reclining sofa release - about a 5-year old sofa.There appear to be many brands and sellers of this same product, this one was priced higher than some, but available for very quick delivery - which is why I chose this one - and it did arrive very quickly.It installed very easily.My major complaint: the small black metal clips are loose inside a bubble-lined paper envelope barely big enough for the 2 release handles. I was not looking for the metal clips, and by the time I removed the handles, the clips nowhere to be found. I would have sworn they were not included at all, but couple days later, I found one of the clips on my desk. Maybe the other will turn up. (Because I couldn't locate them, I used the clip from the old broken handle when I installed.)This could be major issue for a buyer and would have been so simple for the seller/vendor to prevent from happening - there are 2 ways that could have been done: 1 simple way - put the damn clips in a plastic bag; another way, ship the product with the clips installed on the handle - they won't come out on their own.If I had known the original handles were cheap plastic that should never have been used, I would have purchased replacement before they broke and would have had time to choose a better value/vendor.

Metal. Which is better than the Original Equipment the Manufacturer used. So far so good.

As advertised. Great product. Tip: I have a set of chairs. On one it fit easy as if made for this chair. On the other identical chair, I did have to use pliers to extent the exposed cable to allow it to fit the handle. Not a problem with the handle itself. Works great and the metal is for superior to the original plastic.

These are metal and feel so much better than the plastic ones that come with the couch. Feel much stronger. I would recommend and delivery was good.

We own two Hanover Aspen Oxblood 100% Genuine Leather Rocker Recliner Chairs purchased on 1-19-22 and delivered on 02-22-22. They both are Approximately 7 months old, and the Cheap Plastic Recliner Chair Lever broke on both. So now we are unable to open the foot rest on our $780.00 each chairs. Photos are of the original plastic Lever Assemblies, you can see the cracks where the cable seats and the cable pulls through the plastic.Purchased 2pcs Metal Recliner Handles Replacement Parts for Chair/Sofa Couch Release 6mm Black from Amazon on 10-13-2022. The parts were delivered on 10-15-2022, very fast delivery and a excellent quality metal replacement.Very easy to install, took about 10 minutes each chair. They work better then the original cheap plastic ones, why the Chair Manufacture would install a cheap part on an expensive Recliner chair just doesn’t make sense.Going to buy 2 more Metal Recliner Handle Replacements for our Hanover Aspen Recliner Sofa and replace the plastic handles before they break.Very Satisfied Customer.
