He’s packed away right now, but my guess is at least 20” tall. Quality is excellent. The candle takes a double A battery. I had this for weeks before I realize that. He sits up nicely on shelf. Weight and flexibility of doll makes this possible.

Q: Does the candle have an on and off switch?

I bought this for my Mom a while ago. I know the candle was never on all the time but can't remember if there's a switch or if you turn the bulb. Sorry, hope this helps. I can tell you it's quite a piece of art though.

It requires 2 AAA batteries !!! Enjoy 

My Scrooge (8 years old) candle does NOT have a screw at the bottom on the candle piece you screw in. I can see why they added the screw, because mine doesn’t screw in tightly and you have to get it just right so the batteries stay secure. So sorry, I can’t answer your question.
