OK, you'll pay for these containers. They are not cheap.However...they're very much worth it. As noted in the reviews, they're free of harmful contaminants, which many plastics containers are not. They're dishwasher safe. This is particularly appealing because of the unique hinge and sealing device which is hard to clean with sponge and soap is sauces get into them.1. These to well in the microwave. You leave the seals on the side open while the top is on and the food heats up well. No need to cover them with another plate, plastic, or separate cover.2. These do not seem to stain. Most plastic containers that have red sauce placed into them stain and look terrible. Worse, it's sometimes hard to tell if they're clean. It's been 3 months of use and they look the same as when we opened them.3. They seal very, very well.Other thoughts:1. I will note that removing the covers is hard at time because of the rubber seal and how it holds to the plastic. You're really putting some force to it at times to separate lid and container. Not deal breaking but you'll notice this. (The price you'll pay for that perfect seal.)2. I wonder how these will hold up to being dropped. The container is fairly thick feeling. I presume it'll be fine if dropped onto wood floors. If you have tile, I wonder. Most times, I wouldn't care but when you pay as much as you do for these...3. I do wish they had a few different sizes that what's out there now. I super-sized container would be great.BOTTOM LINE: It'll need to have these a full 9-12 months to know for sure, but these seem like the best containers we've ever had. I'm expecting (hoping) there use and life will make the costs more than worth it.

At first very impressed with these containers and seemed to be totally airtight and leak proof.Used container for the first time by placing a warm stew inside and lightly attached bread to the container with clingfilm. I was horrified to discover that the clingfilm had totally melted into the surface of the container and cannot be removed so the container is now ruined and useless.These containers are advertised to have a lifetime guarantee but cannot seem to contact the seller through Amazon or have any information on how to report this issue or have the item replaced.Extremely disappointed and quite annoyed
