Nice but not consistent
Ive brought these twice now the first time they had a lovely smell and taste , the second time smelt different and didn’t taste anything like the first purchase, would buy once more to compare and then I’ll decide if I’ll re purchase , if it’s the same as the first time then definitely would buy and recommend, the second purchase didn’t taste nice

Interesting blue tea
I've never tried this type of tea before - It turns a really bright blue which is kinda cool - I added some lemon juice and stevia drops for sweetness and it tasted kinda like how I image eating grass from the ground tastes like it wasnt horrendous but it was a but earthy.I tried again and drank it cold over ice and it was a lot nicer than having it hot and a lot easier to drink.I'm not sure of the health benefits stated I had it iced in the evening before bed and slept well whether it was due to the tea or just being tired I'm not sure.I'm interested to try using this tea now in making some cakes as I think they would look awesome.A box of 20 teabags if currently priced at £4.29 which I think is reasonable

Great colour & taste. [20 tea bags]
I like Clitoria ternatea/butterfly pea flower tea & have been drinking it for a while now.I usually use the loose dried flowers, but that can be a bit of a faff to make so having it in teabag form means I can grap a couple if I'm heading off somewhere & have a brew without the messy clean up. The bags are naturally more expensive than using loose flowers though. For £4.29 you get 20 teabags which works out to 21 pence a cup.The teabags, like the packaging they come in is recyclable, though I'll recycle the packaging & compost the teabags.I find it has a grassy taste with a floral back-note. I can drink it straight though i often pop in a little honey. You can drink it hot of cold, equally delicious either way. If you have any left in the pot [or you can make it up especially for this] you can pour it into ice-cube trays & it makes great ice-cubes. The colour is a vivid blue, almost a Prussian blue. & looks great in a glass cup or tumbler. The colour will change depending on what you add. Add a lemon or its juice [acid] and it'll turn to a vivid violet hue, add something like hibiscus [alkaline] & it'll turn bright red. Its a drinkable litmus test. You can also steep the teabags in clear alcohol like gin or vodka so that later on you can make colour changing cocktails. Adds a bit of interest to a summer soirée.The tea has been drunk in South East Asia for centuries & is said to lighten your mood as well as many other benefits. But I say do your own research before you believe or spout forth on those.Though its been used as a dye in its native countries it wont stain your teeth thankfully. Though you can use it to dye rice blue for the Malay dish called nasi kerabu. [or just to dye the rice for other dishes for the fun of it].Great stuff, food you are encouraged to play with & tastes nice too.
