I was house sitting for my neighbor and she had a set of grinders similar to this. I looked them up and they were $75 each, so I kept looking and found these for less than half that for both salt and pepper shaker. They work just as well or better than the more expensive ones.I love that these came with a little tray. They do not leak but I prefer to put them on something rather than right on the counter. They take 4 AAA batteries each and it was easy to put the batteries in. I checked out the adjustment for courseness and it's easy to get a multitude of settings. I suggest looking at it before you fill it so you understand how it works. Just turn the thing in the direction you want. You can keep twisting it further than the little guides. Those guides just show you which way to twist to get course or fine grind.Both of these are identical and work great. To top it off there is a nifty light to help show how much you are adding to your food. I had this set in my former married life and after having another cheap set, I decided to try this product again. I did receive one faulty grinder (because nothing in life is perfect) and decided to contact the company directly to avoid an Amazon return. They answered quickly and shipped out a new grinder that I received in two days. Now, I have a working set. I love this set because it grinds so smoothly and seasons food quickly. I highly recommend this product.

I have always wanted an Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder. I researched the top performing sets and this one was at the top. Using (4) AA batteries each (not included), this set is a great addition to any chef's kitchen! Easy to fill and operate, highly recommended!

One of the two grinders stopped working just after the return window closed. The other has worked perfectly. I sent an email to the company and the owner responded with his apologies and has sent me a new mill. Hey, things happen in manufacturing and that is not the measure of the quality of the product but rather the measure of the quality of the company is their response, their ownership of a problem, and their resolution to the customer. I would not hesitate to purchase from this company nor hesitate to recommend them to others.
