I had a baby 3 mos premature,I'm 40 w/ other health issues so milk production has been quite a challenge.I pumped religiously while she was in the hospital for 3.5 months and was getting about 700 ml a day, but when she came home it was harder to find time to pump and empty my breast after her feeds (she couldn't breast feed exclusively). So, after 2 mos of her at home my milk started to rapidly dry up.I was devastated. I had tried mothers milk tea and blessed thistle pills-they may have helped, but not enough. I've used other Gaia herbs and was THRILLED that they made lactation support! Without a doubt, this has made a HUGE difference! I also have worked very hard to pump more often and always pump in the middle of the night between 1a-5a when prolactin is best. This combination has almost fully brought back my milk. Such a relief because my preemie needs all the breastmilk she can get to stay healthy! Breastfeeding is an emotional roller-coaster and if this hadn't worked I'd be in therapy right now! :) I'm on my second bottle of pills now and take them as prescribed. I saw results in about a week or two of using them, so don't give up! And remember that pumping or breastfeeding often is critical to your supply. Not sure that these have helped at all. I saw an increase after the first day of taking them however my supply slowly returned to its awful self after a couple days.

Ladies, if you are struggling with supply issues, please try this. My lactation consultant told me to take fenugreek and blessed thistle. I went to my local natural health store and this product was all I could find. It was $22 for a 60 count. I thought it was super pricey as you’re suppose to take 3 a day. I noticed a milk increase within a day. Once the bottle was gone, I ordered separate fenugreek and blessed thistle pills to save money. My supply dropped when I took those. I took 3 OF EACH 3 times a day. That’s 18 pills a day! Taking that many cost me way more than these Gaia pills.I immediately ordered the 120 count of these Gaia pills. I take 3 a day and my supply has already increased. I went from pumping 2 oz at a time to 4-5oz. I know this probably won’t work for everyone, but it never hurts to try!

These pills are definitely a Godsend! When my baby was only 1 month I experienced my first milk shortage. I bought the Motherlove More Milk Plus pills and I didn't see a notable difference. I took fenugreek pills and after about a week I had an abundance of milk. All it took was one week of pills!I experienced my second milk shortage when my baby was almost 4 months old, coincidentally after the holidays. I started taking the fenugreek pills again expecting the same reaction; however, the difference was barely noticeable. I started eating oatmeal, flax seeds and brewers yeast and only noticed a slight difference. I really started to panic when my frozen milk supply started to diminish. I started reading a few breastfeeding blogs and saw that a few people recommended the Gaia Lactation Support pills. I decided to give them a try. Oh thank heaven! I have an abundance of milk again, and I'm slowly building my frozen milk supply again.I strongly recommend anyone who is having difficulty with their supply to give these pills a try.

Seriously the best product I have found that really works and fast. In just a couple days of use my supply has gone up and breast feel fuller. I’ve tried other brands and they do not work as good as this one at all. Highly recommend. (A mama writing from husbands account)
