PEI (Polyetherimide) , also known as Ultem, is a reusable, relatively maintenance free. Perfect build surface for both ABS ( Heatbed 100°C) and pPLA (Heatbed °60), other materials such as Metal, Wood, ABS+, ASA,PETG and many others also works just fine. PEI sheet is appealing due to its “no-surface-prep” conditions, which make it convenient to work with. Additionally, printing on PEI sheet requires no support rafts as parts adhere directly to the surface with no issue. Say good bye to Blue Tape and ABS Slurry. Last couple months to years depend on the usage.

Disappointed in matte surface finish and out of square cut ... but it works
When I received this PEI sheet I was expecting a gloss finish because that's the main reason I wanted a PEI sheet - so the bottom of my prints would be glossy. However, this has a matte finish on it. This pictures in the description show a glossy finish.Additionally whoever at the supplier's cut the sheet - did so out of square. I kept lining up the sheet to lay it down and it was always cocked to one side. I finally measured it and it was out of square by aprox 6mm. It looks like when they went to cut it - it slid on them.Just not good quality controlWhile it isn't the full 400mm x 400mm, it is working (I didn't have time to send it back for the project I was doing)Having said all that - it is working well in sticking my prints. I can use PLA and PETG and it works well... I'm running PETG @ 80c - which on my printer ends up at ~73c-75c using an infrared thermometer.Though it works .. I'm not sure I would buy again, just because of the matte finish and poor cut. If you don't mind the matte finish - it will work fine for you.

If your 3D prints are failing, you should consider this
Quick and easy to install for a reasonable price. I use this on a Creality CR-10 S4 as my 3D prints were not adhering consistently. After leveling the build plate (including the center of the glass), and applying the PEI sheet, every print has stuck perfectly without any other changes. I've just kept it cleaned after each print. While it's more expensive than a glue stick or hairspray or other such techniques, I definitely like this option and will purchase again if I need another print surface. It's consistent and I don't have to worry about it. While it's not inexpensive, I consider it a small price to pay especially given the expense and time wasted when prints fail.
