This dive skin fits small. Make sure you order a much larger size than you would normally buy.

First, this is a beautiful skin and looks great on. I am 5'3" and 123 lbs, and bought a medium and size is comfortable. I purchased this for a skin for scuba and snorkeling. It's not a wet suit so it's not going to offer warmth which is what I wanted. I will say that I was surprised to find that there are inserts in the chest of the suit that I had to take out. With them in it looked very funny looking and was uncomfortable. I wore it for the first time last weekend for a dive. After the second dive and changing out of it I noticed that the strap on the bottom of one leg was no longer connected. No problem, I'll just sew it back on. But I am disappointed that after only 1 day of use I have to make changes to it. In the photo you will see where the strap has partially come off.

The sizing is completely off, this item runs extremely small, if you order this skin, you will need two sizes larger than you usually wear. I am returning the one I received. But other than that, it is very well constructed and really pretty!

This is the second one I ordered as this is not true to size and fits very small. I normally wear a large, I ordered a x-large and it was so small that my daughter who is a size 2 could wear it.The second one, a 2xl fit, and I used it yesterday for a dive trip. It’s got a short zipper which made it a bit difficult to put on, but taking it off when it was wet was impossible because of that short zipper. In my other skins, the zipper passes my navel, this one is just below my chest.So, in short. I don’t recommend this. The size and design are impossible.

I teach water fitness classes year-round outdoors, and in the fall start wearing skinsuits in the water. This suit is comfortable, has a good zipper, and comes in an unusual and attractive print. These suits are also great for snorkeling, because they offer protection from rocks and coral as well as being a very effective sun guard. Many tropical beaches are restricting the kinds of sunscreen you can wear, and wearing these lightweight suits is a good alternative.
