18 oz for $20 is a little expensive.That's why the 4 stars.It does keep beverages cold thoughAlso, I get that it's got to be sealed, but how about having some kind of mouthpiece to drink from?You have to be careful to drink from it because the lid will smack you in the face.Can't drink from it while driving, you'll give yourself a bath. Not that I tried, but since there's no mouth piece, well....So if it had a mouthpiece and was maybe 24ounces, then it would have gotten a 5 star ratingUPDATE:I bought this April 2016 and it's now Sept 2017 and this bottle is still awesome.So, I went from 4 stars to 5 stars!!AND I see they are now offering bigger sizes!! YAY! So I just bought a 32oz size.This bottle keeps your water COLD!!!! ALL DAY. If you add ice? Your water is ICE COLD ALL DAY!!!!Still wish they had a mouthpiece, but oh well.RECOMMENDED? YES YES YES

It will keep your water ice cold for up to 24 hours, they say. The reason why I bought this was because I wanted a smaller bottle so it would fit in my cup holder since I do a lot of driving in my field. I've tried using it the past 3 days and my water has managed to stay only a little bit below room temperature, but definitely not cold. I put a handful of ice into my bottle at 9 am and all of the ice managed to melt within the first hour even though the bottle was not opened once during that time. I carry my Glacier Point bottle around with me and there's ice in it even after 6 hours! I can't believe the East Rim bottle cost more than the Glacier Point bottle and it holds half the amount of water and doesn't even keep it cold. I've tried looking at the lifetime warranty on this thing and so far, I haven't even been able to find any details on how to contact them. Other than it looking good, the bottle serves its minimal purpose.

I bought this bottle for my mom after she saw I had bought a similar bottle. She tells me it's fantastic. One day she came home from work after 8 hours and told me "the ice is still there!" So it's doing a great job and you definitely want this bottle if you're looking for something that will keep your water cold for long periods of time.

What can I say about a water bottle? OH! Yeah... doesn't leak! Keeps liquids at temp. Great color!

As owner of now 3 different kinds of vacuum insulated bottles (East Rim, Hydroflask, Muir), I can safely say I would buy another East Rim bottle if I was looking. The wide mouth makes it easy to fit ice from a machine or tray into it and the lid has never leaked. The size is perfect and doesn't feel ever feel clunky. My water bottles get a pretty big beating too between being shoved into my backpacks and getting dropped down flights of cement stairs and this bottle has held up very well, even the plastic lid, and it's also easy to clean if you're like me and get pen ink and other dirt smudges on it. It kept ice all day and has kept things steaming hot for a few hours before finally allowing them to slightly cool to an easily drinkable beverage. Overall very satisfied with the product!

Great bottle! I am never seen without a water bottle in my hand. The vacuum seal technology easily beats out my old Nalgeen or Camelback. I can keep a glass of water at my bed all night and wake up to ice still in it! I currently have the 18 oz, but I will upgrade to the 40 oz because I don't have to worry about my water getting too warm. Word if caution, if you decide to use it for coffee it is difficult to get that coffee smell out. Overall, great deal for a good product.

I LOVEEE my East Rim water bottle! It keeps my water ice cold during lectures. I can't wait to try it out while camping this summer! There is no condensation so it is super easy to store in my bag without worrying that it will get everything wet.
