... was quite cheap and I hoped it would be good value for money
This was quite cheap and I hoped it would be good value for money. Unfortunately it does not have a separate internal dampening ring and so even on low tension it does not make a good kick sound. I have had to fill the drum with a blanket to get a reasonable sound. Maybe someone better at tuning can get a better sound (I did use a drum dial to tune).

Good quality drum head
Sound quality of pinstripe head miked up is exactly what i was looking for, could'nt ask for any better sound for a good price quality product.
