Treat your feet to a pair of Rymora's
I've done some serious walking over the years, so have come to appreciate the importance of wearing a pair of good quality socks. I'll think nothing of going on a 15-20 mile hike, but I still walk for pleasure - so I want to wear clothing that provides me with the best possible degree of comfort - from my Berghaus rain jacket down to the socks in my Meindl Bhutan boots. My 'go to' socks have always been Bridgedale's, but in recent years I've found that they are not as hard-wearing as they used to be. So, I thought it was time to try another brand. I've always wore socks with a merino wool content, so decided to purchased a pair of these Rymora's, which impressively contain 40% merino wool.I take a size 9 boot, so ordered size 7-10, which fit my feet perfectly. I have to add that as soon as I took these out of the bag I could see and feel that they were of a superior quality. Finished to a high standard, they are cushioned, ventilated, and give support in all the right places, and are an absolute pleasure to wear. They do wick away sweat as claimed, so do a good job of keeping your feet relatively dry - and in the process help you to avoid those dreaded blisters. Although, on the topic of blisters, my experience shows that most people will still retain some moisture within their boots. So I think it's a good policy to pack an extra pair of socks on long walks, and change them out at the half-way mark (yeah, I'm a belt and braces kind of guy).I've so far worn these for half a dozen walks (5-10 mile outings) and have had absolutely no issues with them. They feel great, don't shrink in the washer/tumble drier, and for the quality of materials used represent excellent value. Only time will tell if they are as hard-wearing as I think they'll be - so I'll post an update in around 500 miles time. In the meantime, I'm very happy with these and can unreservedly recommend them. If you have found my review of use please click on the 'Helpful' button below. Such a positive gesture will inspire me to continue writing reviews, and let me know that people are actually reading them! Many thanks & happy hiking! 😊

The socks I've been searching for...
Bought a pair of these socks a few weeks ago so I've had the chance to put them through their paces now. I've always been into Bridgedales, mainly Merino Fusion but after a few sweaty days over summer realised that I needed a higher merino content for a bit more comfort and control of foot temperature (Bridgedales MF are 16%), particularly in full grain leather boots. With a few longer trails ticked of in the Rymoras I cannot recommend them highly enough. The same single "test" pair have been brilliant whether in fabric or leather boots, hot and humid or wet through. Fit for my feet is perfect, feeling immediately like a second skin. They are padded and vented in all the right places, breath brilliantly and I only ever felt "hot footed" on the most extreme of days with temps into the very high twenties. A recent back to back Lakeland three day, 10 miles per day plus through water and high temps gave the socks a good workout and (as grim as it sounds) the same single pair performed brilliantly throughout. A bit crusty by the end as you might expect but still comfortable, still keeping my feet cool and only slightly wiffy. The benefits of the higher merino content (40%) proving their worth. I've noted that some reviews have questioned how long the socks might last. For me, so far, no concerns but maybe the higher wool content will prove a little "softer" to toe nail rub. I reckon time well spent with a nail file should minimise any likelihood. Small price to pay for the difference these made to my feet on my last few walks so I've already got another three pairs on the way.

Comfortable hiking socks.
Love these socks really comfortable and for me, just the right amount of grip around the calves. Slightly padded to stop blisters and keep feet coolish even in hiking boots.

Best Merino socks ever. Love them.
They fit snugly. But not too tight so your toes move easily. I like this because as a size 4, I often find socks are loose and moving around to much. They are warm and wash well but don't wash over 30 degrees. I bought a number of different merino socks from other brands including some well known Danish ones and these are much better. They have a higher merino content and they are warmer. My feet feel the perfect temperature, even though my house and floors are freezing. I absolutely love these socks.

Good Quality Socks
The socks feel really nice against the skin, they seem to be very well made and I reckon they'll be quite durable too.. You get a little note from the company, which is a nice touch.

Seem really good quality
Bought these as a Xmas gift for myself so have yet to test them. First impressions are very favourable. Seem like very good quality socks. No annoying ridges to cause blisters. Good fit. Very nice to look at and feel soft and comfortable. Bought them to wear with my boots for walking the dog and have high hopes for them.
