Arcade1Up Galaga Arcade Cabinet 2 In 1 Games (Galaga And Galaxian)

Got this delivered and the outside box was in tatters. I was afraid something was going to be damaged. Alas, everything inside seemed perfectly fine. I put this together by myself within about 2 hours, casually assembling this while watching a Christmas movie. The labeling and instructions were VERY clear. Everything fit nicely together. Sound was fine, mute, medium and loud(er). So far I'm quite happy about this purchase...makes me want to get another one!

I've been on the fence about getting one of these for a while, as there are other, more versatile options for getting that Arcade experience. However, the smaller scale (Width in particular) of the unit is something that I found appealing. The construction is actually quite good, and I can't see any issues with the quality of the cabinet or components.It's well packaged and the instructions are nice and clear - allow about 30-45 mins for assembly. The unit is about 4ft high, and unless you're sitting, you will definitely need to raise it up to be even remotely comfortable standing if you are over 5ft.Here's where it loses some of it's praise. For the price, the optional Riser should be included. The riser gives you an additional 1ft of height to the device, and makes it far more usable. The Riser is essentially a wooden box - and is now extremely hard to find, and those you can find (at time of writing) are extortionately priced.The two games included function well, and the menu system is basic and easy to operate.I am happy with my purchase, it's going to get a lot of play at lunchtimes in my home office. :)

Absolutely I love it, it's such a blast From the past to 80's Arcade gamers. To those who always dreamed to own their Arcade Machine in home, this is a nearest to that old school days feeling. Artwork, controls, sound effects, are true to the original Arcade Machine, but beware, straight out the box, is very small, only to sit playing, I strongly recommend a riser with it to reach almost the real arcade Machine's measure. In general, I'm happy with my perchase, it could be better if it would have a lighted marquee.

Ich liebe dieses Spiel und die Umsetzung der klassischen Arcade Maschine ist Arcade1up sehr gut gelungen. Leider sind bisher die meisten Titel/Maschinen nur durch teuren Import aus den USA zu erhalten.

I love this game console! A little smaller than the original but just as responsive and the graphics are perfect! I built a base that raises it about 10 inches. The sounds are authentic I’m very much pleased!!
