APPALLINGLY TERRIBLE !!
Four chapters is all I could tolerate. First of all, they are pretty short chapters and yet in that time, the author managed to use the words SEAL and Ex-SEAL about 40 TIMES !! No joke ! I get that a lot of authors write about military men nowadays. Some do it well with respect for the uniform, this author did NOT !! If I was a SEAL, and I read this book I would probably A) Laugh my ass off AND B) Would probably be pissed that she would use military service as a device in selling books.Don't get me stated on the chauvinistic things that come out of H's mouth. Calling the Deputy, "Deputy Barbie", and saying "Women did not know how to track" when learning that she tracks in the mountains. Then of course, hh is gorgeous like "Barbie" and he is amazing as in a "GQ cover model". Gag, enough trying to make your characters amazing, perfect, and cool from the get-go. Oh, by the way, it did not work, with cheesy writing like "He'd somehow gotten to her womanly core" REALLY ? Is this what good writing looks like these days ? How does she continue to get published ? The H had supposedly survived a bear attack, she is supposed to be there on official police capacity and they are both getting horny ?This was a ridiculous, badly written farce. I will NEVER read anything by this author again !! Asked for my money back.

The loner-the Wyoming series-book 7
This book was an exciting story from the beginning! It DEPICTS THE LONER, Dakota,And the law enforcement officer, Shelby together helping one another. Dakota thinking she is an angel due to his injury SOON falls in love with Shelby who is drawn to Dakota from the start. Both are trackers and use their skills to recover people who are lost in the Teton Mts. As Shelby is threatened by two escaped convicts, Dakota becomes the person who becomes her guardian angel to protect her and kill the convicts. Lots of information concerning SEAL combat and the hardships and camaraderie the SEALS have for one another. Geographical descriptions of the rugged Teton Mts. Will want you to visit them..

Warrior Class
This is a romantic story about how two warriors suffering Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, one a male the other a female, help each each other cope with the disorder. Both male and female perspectives are presented in this action love story.Lindsay McKenna writing immerses the reader into the action.Well done, Lindsay.Jerry Scott

seal lover
I was very impressed with the detail in this story of what is involved in being a SEAL. I have read a lot of stories about seals but never like this one. For a SEAL, a highly decorated SEAL to isolate himself from life fearful of what his actions might cause to others, really was touching. I commend Ms. McKenna for bring this to light. How many other vetrans live among us feeling like this. GREAT story. Highly recommend to all.

Five stars,another good read
This book was more like some of the other books in this set. Once again the characters were suffering from Todd. However since both characters were either veterans or police, I guess that makes sense. The plot moves quickly as before in previous books, with many twists and turns, keeping the reader's attention throughout.

So disappointed.
The book would have been so good if you hadn't decided to use our Lords name as a curse word.

The Loner
Similar in story line to High Country Rebel, again PTSD/ ex military problems cropping up, mixed in with the wildlife laws of the high country, but again I enjoyed the book.

Great love story
A wounded vet determined to protect the fair maiden - what's not to love?Nice to see a female character take on a traditionally male role.
