I got this for the kids during lockdown, and it was brilliant my kids 6 and 7 boy and girl both loved be letting loose with this. actually a bit more difficult than I originally thought bit more to it (if you want your attempt to come out well) But I watched a few videos off YouTube and I'm glad I did, I was much more organised. You do get instructions with this but if this is your first time take a look at a few you tube videos to get a few more helpful tips.Great kit to start off with I have since upgraded, as we loved this so much.

The kids (8 & 6 years old, girl and boy) have really enjoyed creating their own patterns by following the techniques in the instruction booklet. The rainbow design came out very well. The process was simple to use and very good quality. I bought 2 additional white t-shirts because there is definitely enough dye to do 6 items maybe more.I’m that impressed I’ve bought one for a birthday gift.

My daughter and I had lots of fun doing this tie die and some bits turned out quite well.I’ve marked it down because one of the tie die colours was black and I would question who would want black in their rainbow tie dye! Not my 6 year old daughter, that’s for sure.Also, the most disappointing item was the canvas bag which comes in the set because the dye didn’t really take to it that well and that was even after trying to dye it a second time.For the reasons mentioned above I don’t think the set is as good value as it could be but if those two things were changed, I would mark it higherFor fun factor.

Had fun with my daughter tie dying all the white clothing in the house! Good start off kit, its potentially very messy so good yo have polythene and gloves and rubber bands plus some white things to dye! We learnt from this kit, about what colours we like and some of the different techniques and how they turn out. My daughter has enjoyed wearing her tie dye clothes, even socks!

We decided to do extras so we tie dyed some boxers, socks, 5 tshirts, the bag, pillow case, shorts and a jumper! still had so much dye left.I would say the only problem for us was when we rinsed it, al lthe dye ran so the white areas were no longer white but a peacy colour, kids loved it anyway, infact my daughter has worn an item each day

Fabulous kit. Quality of colours is extremely good. The colour has not bled even after multiple washes. Fun activity to do with kids . The quantity of colours provided is also satisfactory.

Expensive for what you get, considering you are only able to use it once. The canvas bag doesn't take dye well, the pillow case is poor quality and would have made sense to include a T-shirt...No choice over the dye colours which unlike Tulip dye bleed into each other (everything we dyed blue and yellow ended up green) and leave a faded look after washing (despite soaking in soda ash solution for the suggested amount of time).I would also suggest soaking the canvas bag for longer in soda ash to give the dye more chance of taking.Tie dying is great but I would order soda ash and dye separately and watch a you tube clip on what to do!

The pillow case is really good fabric quality and the tote isn’t just a basic calico tote bag, it’s really well made with a zip and inside pocket. Was really impressed. Also managed to tie dye a lot more items than it said I would which was a nice surprise
