NO BASS IN LEFT EAR
Well I bought these expecting them to be at least halfway decent for the price, but I guess I was wrong. Immediately I noticed that the left ear bud seems to be overpowering the right one as far as sound output and bass capabilities. Also, when large amounts of bass is played through the earbuds, the left ear bud makes a high pitch screeching sound, but also zero bass feesback. What the heck?? For the price I expected much better sound quality. I know for sure that I will never recommend this product to anyone, not even people that I don't like. This buy was a complete disappointment and a waste of money. I would love it if I received another pair.

Look fancy but failed in a short time.
These earbuds came in a fancy paper box which even included a recycled-paper writing pen and a small notebook made of recycled newsprint paper. The pen fell to pieces after using it three times. I figured they put all that unnecessary stuff in the box to justify the $24 cost. After a few month of easy use (in bed at night to watch Netflix) one of the ear pieces stopped working. Something is loose inside because if I push the rear end with the tip of the finger, it sounds for a while, until I move. The cloth cable cover seem to be able to take some wear, perhaps more than other plastic cables.I have had better luck with $7 sets and even some $0.99 bought (and soon lost) at the store check out line.

Awesome "audiophile" quality at a budget price
I'll preface this review by stating that I own a handful of quality headphones and IEMs that I'm happy with such as the AKG K7XX, Sennheiser 598, Zero Audio Carbo Tenore, etc. Still, I like to test out a lot of these budget/generic IEMs for fun. I do my testing with the same set of songs using a custom preset equalizer off my PC and use an external amplifier to ensure proper power. With that said, onto the review ...The DZAT-DF10 interested me due to its wooden enclosure and a brief search turned up positive reviews on these IEMs. So I gave these a try (purchased on Aliexpress) and first impressions are really good. Firstly, the presentation of the product is excellent. Although it's all paper/cardboard, it's a clean and professional look and alongside a small pouch, a small notepad and pen is included as well. It's a simple and unnecessary thing but adds a nice touch to the over presentation.Initial build quality feels solid. The maple housing feels sturdy and the wires don't feel cheap at all. They're wrapped in a white braided nylon up to the split where the wires become the standard plastic. This may seem like a con but in reality is a good trade off since having braided wires up to the earbud increases the tendency to pick up extraneous noise when the wires inevitably rub against your shirt. As for sound, my first impression was, "wow". For the roughly $20 these IEMs go for, the sound they produce is actually top notch. The treble comes in nice and clear without sounding harsh and the mids were surprisingly clean. A lot of these cheaper IEMs sound too muddy and it inevitably screws up the audio experience. The bass is boomy while still staying nicely controlled and tight, sounding great on everything from EDM to more vocal songs. The combination of quality treble/mids/bass work extremely well and the soundstage produced seals the great experience. In-ear fitment feels great and makes a nice noise-isolating seal as long as you use the proper tips for your ears (perhaps the reviewer who complained about them falling out doesn't know tips can be changed).Overall, the DZAT DF-10 has exceeded my expectations and is on par with more expensive offerings from name brands. It's always fun and nice to find these hidden gems in the audio world and for the most part, I think the audio quality of these IEMs will please most users. I still have to see how the build quality in terms of longevity is since there seems to be a few complaints on that (hard to trust those short complaint "reviews"). But in the end, I'd highly recommend these for those wanting quality "audiophile" sound at a budget price.

Very poor design.
Bought this item May 31, 2016 has already failed July 15, 2016. The cord constantly pauses, skip tracks etc without touching the controls. Very poor design.
