I am enjoying this product
I have been a crazy pet plant lady for many years. It hasn’t been that long ago that I have seen people using this as a medium. It’s not at all what I expected, I cannot believe how lightweight it is! I read some reviews and they talked about dirty water when you use it but you have to clean this first. Use a kitchen colander and rinse them then soak them and rinse them soak. Repeat the process until the water is crystal clear. Anything that’s natural it’s gonna have dust and brown water when it gets cleaned off. so don’t just stick it in your pot and start using it. Clean it very well several times and then your water will stay clear when you use it.Once I started seeing this more often I wanted to know what it was all about. I love the size that I got because it’s not too much but it was just enough to decide if this is what I really wanted to pursue with any of my plants. I am currently about to place another order because I do like it! This is very interesting way to grow and I like it. Although I am a sucker for traditional soil and cactus grit, I do love this for a couple of my pants. I am using it on a pothos that I am propagating and also a couple of my orchids. Plus it’s aesthetically pleasing and when you use a clear jar or a clear pot. I have had several comments at my office once people started seeing us. This is an excellent buyThe photos I have - some bamboo, some pothos I’m propagating and some other plants. So far so good yall. Will update as I go.

Many pellets broken, but still mostly works for my needs
I needed to use these right away, otherwise I would have contacted customer service about these and attempt to get a replacement. The plastic container was shipped in a bubble mailer which naturally led the container to break in transit and may of my pellets to arrive broken (this is a warehouse issue, not product or seller issue so I did not reduce my rating for this).I am using these in conjunction with rockwool squares to start a mason jar herb garden. They work as expected and I am pleased with them, but I will likely buy another brand next time. I have found these to be much more powdery than I expected, but that is likely due to the fact that many of my pellets were broken in transit.I am a Vine voice, but I bought these with my own money after comparing different brands and prices.

So far so good.
Make sure you soak them first, as there was a lot of dust on them (at least in my container). Reminded me of soaking pinto beans. Ha!Very few were broken! So far so good.

Nearly all came in-tact.
After I rinsed them I took this pic to show how great their condition is. Out of the lot of them I probably only had 10 broken ones...at the most. They’re the perfect size to mix with my other orchid medium. Time for some repotting! You should probably rinse them outside as there’s a good amount of dust but, they didn’t stink like I read from other reviews on other clay ball products. Will absolutely order again.

It's not 1 L
Hmmm, why advertised as 1L (about 4 cups) instead of write down the real size/value. It's only 3 cups of pebbles.

Seems to work!
Used to help with moisture control when planing my jade plant. So far so good!

Great alternative to rock wool
Pebbles work great. They do what they are supposed to do in holding my plants in the net cup. Would have liked to get a bit more in the container but overall it works great and it’s an alternative to rock wool as once the roots get into the water you just put these all around and you have a standing plant

Potentially good for growing orchids?
I was hoping to use this in water to grow aquaponic plants but this one floats in water and smaller one don't float!
