Pretty quiet and reliable

No leaks after many times used. Has been jumped on and really tested by the kids. Have added a padded mattress cover for extra comfort. Super easy set up and take down. Pump automatically stops when inflation is complete which is nice to not have to guess when mattress is full.

We have had one of these for a few years, but needed two more for visitors. These are updated and provide the same easy set up and comfort settings as before but seem to be of even better quality. Simply remove from the provided bag, unfold, plug in and pick the setting you want. Suggest using a pad for added comfort between a twin fitted sheet and the bed. These provide a sleep surface well up from the floor so you don't have to be a contortionist to use them. When done, use the power deflation function, fold up and return to the strong bag. Not cheap, but worth the price for sure.

I've only had it for a week now but so far I am very impressed. I can't say if it just hasn't lost any air or if the motor is actually that quiet but I have yet to hear it. There are two pumps and the one you do the initial inflation with is clearly audible but I have it set up in my home office which I'm generally in most of the time and I still have yet to hear it. I like a firm mattress but the firm setting on this one was too much for me so it took a little playing with the settings to find mine. Now that I have it seems to hold it there quite well. I also like that there is a rise all the way around that helps keep the blankets on and the height makes it easy to get on and off even with my bad back.

We have encountered the same problem many reviewers complained of. Between the time we bought our first Insta-Bed and this one (several years), the quality has apparently taken a nosedive. Our twin size InstaBed also broke barely a year (and 4 uses) after we bought it. The seal around the rectangular air pump/control unit started leaking and there is no way to repair it. Manufacturing flaw and/or sub-par materials would seem to be at fault, because the one we've had for years is still in perfect condition. Very disappointing to no longer be able to trust this brand.
