I bought this for my son’s baptism. I’ve only tried it on him so far, so I can’t say if it’s held up.To start with I must say it’s adorable. I love it! He fabric is a little rougher than I expected though. It is thin, like see his skin through it thin. If they didn’t baptize naked at my church I’d probably put another onesie underneath. I may do 2 layers for after. The button holes are also poorly constructed. When I was trying to unbutton everything the buttons were getting caught in the seams.When I wash it, before wears it, I’ll probably do it on delicate as I’m afraid it might not hold up.He’s 4 weeks and weighs about 12lbs and he has lots of room. For fit reference.If you’re looking for something for one wear and not something to pass on/down, I think this is a great option.

This is very cute. It was a little lighter weight then I thought. It did have some threads we had to cut. I gave it 4 stars only because in the picture and description it appeared to be heavier weight. It still looks good especially for the price. Our family gown after 130 years finally had to retire. For last minute this works. My daughter and son in law like it so that is what matters. It has the "gown" piece for the ceremony and it removes and the one piece outfit is adorable for the lunch after the baptism. We are happy with it. We got the 3-6 month size my grandson is 23 inches and about 11 pounds and 2 months old.

This outfit turned out to be perfect for the Spring weather! It is indeed 100% cotton, which means it's not the thickest material in the world, but you don't need it to be. My little one is tall for his age (6 months at the time of the ceremony), and wears 12-18 mos. clothes because of his height (he's not particularly plump or skinny, just in between). We got the 12-18 mos. size (the biggest offered), and it was perfect. The cap was adorable and fit just fine. Plus our church turned out to be extremely hot that day anyway, so I was glad this wasn't super thick. I didn't find the buttons annoying at all. If they were Velcro, it would have been much more annoying as the baby wiggled around (you would have heard the constant "rip!" of the Velcro). All in all, served it's purpose and we were pleased.

My son didn't fit into our family baptism gown so I had to search on Amazon. I purchased this gown and another brand. This gown is absolutely perfect. It was longer which is exactly what I wanted. I loved being able to have the gown for the ceremony but then having a romper for the reception party. It was nice not having to buy two outfits. My son weighs 19 pounds and is about 29 inches long. I followed the weight chart and it fit great! I will definitely save this for his children one day.

I ordered this as a Baptismal outfit for my 2 month old son. It fit him just fine and was absolutely adorable. I loved that the skirt detached and the romper was so stinkin' cute on him. Great option for the price, the hat was a little large though.The only negative thing was that one of the snaps in the crotch came off the first time I unsnapped it. I wasn't ripping it aggressively or anything, it just literally came off of the clothing. Not a huge deal since he only wore the thing once for 4 or 5 hours.I would absolutely recommend this to someone looking for a baptismal outfit without spending hundreds.

I bought this gown for my son's baptism. After having read the reviews, I bought a size larger than the normally wears. He usually wears 0-3 months and the 3-6 month gown fit him very well. The quality of the gown is not great. The material is thin and wrinkles easily. There are loose strings and cheap buttons. Still, the gown looks good if you don't look too closely and the price is good. If you're thinking of using this as a family gown, the bow tie can easily be removed to be used for a girl. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

My son is 6 weeks old and around 9.5 lbs. I ordered the second size. I did by weight after reading the reviews. The gown is perfect. The threads are a little loose on the back but it is a simple fix if you plan on using it more than once. The romper part is a little sheer but still beautiful. The bonnet looks much better in person. I was a little hesitant about the bow at first but in person it is actually charming. I love our purchase. 🙌🏼😍

I ordered this gown/romper for my sons baptism. It was a beautiful choice. A gown during the ceremony then transformed into the perfect romper for the reception. It's nicely made. Not too heavy. A white onesie fit under the gown/romper perfectly. My son is 50% in weight and length. He was exactly 12 months old and I got I the size 12 to 18 months it fit like a glove. So I'm guessing it's on the small size. I searched and read all the reviews of the other choices and am happy with this choice. It was a perfect choice and the price just made it even better.
