Star Wars The Force Awakens Sidon Ithano and First Mate Quiggold 3.75" 2-pack
I've avoided most of the new Star Wars 3.75" inch 5POA figures, but when this 2-pack appeared in stock on Amazon for $15.99, I had to have it. In "The Force Awakens" Sidon Ithano and his First Mate Quiggold are the two alien pirates from Maz's castle who Finn joins up with briefly before deciding to help Han and Chewie rescue Rey. They are pretty minor background characters, but in my opinion two of the coolest new character designs from the movie (Especially Ithano, "the Crimson Corsair".) I knew it would be a long time, if ever, before we'd be seeing them in 6" or super articulated form, so I figured I'd take them however I could get them. This being the "low end" of Hasbro's Star Wars figure lines, I wasn't expecting too much, but they are both incredibly cool and definitely the best 2-pack we've seen yet. There is very good detail in the sculpts for both and the paint, although minimal, is very well done. Although this line usually has only 5 points of articulation, Quiggold actually has an additional swivel at the hips, which is probably to make up for lack of rotation in his head.As far as accessories, Ithano has a removable (if you pop his head off) molded plastic cape and an unpainted black plastic rifle blaster. The holstered pistol on his left hip is molded on and not removable; apparently Hasbro has an unwritten law of only one blaster per character in this line. Quiggold comes with a way too big, non movie-relevant blaster with a removable spring action plastic missile that comes ready to fire once and lose immediately. The blaster is not from the film and is obviously more of an add-on for the kiddies.I have to say that although the TFA 5POA figures have been mostly hit-or-miss, these guys are by far two of the best and are definitely worth picking up at regular retail price.

Pirates Who Mean Business
The first thing you'll notice about these characters which you won't find in many 3.75" figures is their girth and solid weight--the sort of quality you would look for when purchasing a gift for a child who will use these figures in the back yard fighting pretend wars in the dirt. You'll be surprised at how appealing these figures are when it comes to coloring, sculpt, and their really fun accessories. From the texturing and detailing of his metallic peg leg up to the wrinkles on his forehead, First Mate Quiggold is exactly what you would expect in a galactic pirate. Captain Sidon Ithano is niceley painted with crimson and grey which accent the attractive detailing of his uniform and cape. Both figures have a sturdy stance for display. The projectile belonging to First Mate Quiggold will make you laugh when you shoot it, because it shoots quickly and flies farther than you would think. You won't consider these figures just fillers to complete your collection, you'll feel these two are well made and worth showing off to friends who would like to touch or view your figures.

These two really help to flesh out a cantina display...
These could have been better. Quiggold(peg leg guy) is the best part of this 2 pack. He's so interesting and versatile in that he could be a background character like a shop owner or a main character like a ship mate.I also think he's the same species as Droopy McCool in Jabba's palace. Not sure though.Sidon is a conundrum. His helmet and body are both cool separately, but they don't match IMO. The head should have a different body and the body vice versa.Sidon is just really plain as is.Another complaint is that Quiggold could have had swivel wrists since his hands are separate pieces from his arms but they didn't do that for him like they did for Qi'ra from Solo.My last complaint is that missile launching gun. Hasbro has made some of these add in parts really well but most of these are terrible. The add in missile launcher accessories should have been build a droid parts or articulation Hasbro. Please do that next time.

The Crimson Corsair!
Sidon came back for the stupid battle of Exegol. The least you can do is buy this toy.

Perfect conditions
The only problem was that Sidon's right arm was a little bit loose. But overall a great pack. Came in time and in perfect conditions.

Great Obscure Characters from the Movie Who Got No Speaking Lines and Barely Any Screen Time!
Wasn't even sure who these guys were until I watched the film a second time and saw that Finn almost signed up as one of the crew. I like the pirate look and aliens are always a welcome addition to the Star Wars collection.
